The Liberal finance minister claims he recused himself in September 2025 of the $90 billion Alto project, for which his wife is the vice president. Yet here he is promoting the project in Senate testimony 6 months later. And here he is voting for it in the House of Commons. There it is in the budget he presented. And there is no recusal record on the Ethics Commissioner’s website. Nothing adds up. $90 billion is at stake. Tell the truth, Minister.

@SMmamashack @KerryDiotte He's opposition leader. It's his job to hold the govt accountable, & that is what he does. He has put forth policies, and the liberals vote against them. At times, liberals propose & pass his policy but in diluted form. You can go to the conservative site & see his platform.

As a journalist from 1979-2009 my colleagues and I spent most of our energy holding the government of the day to account not constantly attacking the Official Opposition as is mainly the case for today’s media.

@KerryDiotte He doesn't do much to warrant a ton of discourse. The media reports what is happening not what you wish was happening. He has always refused to be interviewed by actual journalists. So nothing to talk about there. He list his seat, his lead & the election. That was newsworthy.
