@LPad5677861 @Nofgivenatall @LEDei52 You are assuming there will always be surpluses. What if we have years where there are net losses? I'm looking at the big picture here. We are now losing half our original revenue for 15 years. It will take definitely take longer than 50 years to pay it off.

Any Canadians travelling to the US for any reason should not use the Ambassador Bridge. The bridge's owner caused this mess. Idc what anyone says, the Gordie Howe Bridge is owned by Canadians. I don't blame the government for the deal they made. The Bridge needs to open no matter what. What the US did was extortion. No wonder no country trusts the Trump regime. Their words or contracts mean nothing.

@LPad5677861 @Nofgivenatall @LEDei52 Canada was supposed to be getting 100% of the toll revenue because we paid for the bridge. Once this debt was paid, then the tolls were to be a 50/50 split. So now, it will take us more than than the agreed upon 50 years to pay it off & will be much more expensive due to interest

Please direct all complaints to American voters, please. Elections have consequences. We in Canada hold you all responsible, including democrats, for permitting Trump 2.0; we barely forgave for 1.0. The Canadian government could lift boycotts tomorrow: Canadians aren't buying.
