You know when a bully gets increasingly agitated because their normal bullying tactics don’t seem to be working? This quite a significant scale for that to be playing out…

Looks like Donald ‘I end wars’ Trump might have a busy day.

This has nothing to do with securing world peace and stability, and everything to do with self-serving interests.

The power he wields is deeply troubling both to many American citizens and to allies globally. He shows no real interest in others, save for what they can provide him with. His blinkered selfishness puts us all at increased risk, threatening to tear apart deep, historic ties.

If the @NobelPrize ended up awarding anything at all to the playground bully, @realDonaldTrump, it would be an utter travesty. NATO isn’t about self-preservation of a single nation, but about the mutual support of the entire bloc. There is nothing peaceful about bullying allies.

For the second time this week, I’m on my third cup of tea at around 7:00. 😴

So @realDonaldTrump failed to bully Russia into stopping the war, so is now trying to bully Ukraine into capitulating… I don’t understand how this is anything other than rewarding Russia for an armed invasion of another sovereign country.

Actually a bit heavy-hearted about Trump’s plan which simply hands chunks of Ukraine to an aggressor. If Russia invaded the US, I don’t imagine he’d cede Alaska to end the war. So why is he pushing Ukraine to give up territory. Bullying your way to peace doesn’t seem peaceful…
