Instead of pushing older generations out of their homes, what if we acknowledge that the real problem is we need to build more housing? I don’t begrudge people my parents’ age for wanting to be comfortable or for hanging onto homes where they watched their children grow.

If you're in your 70s and sitting on a 4 bedroom house that you don't even occupy half of, I think you should be disincentivized to holding onto it If nothing else, take your profits while the bubble is still there and move into a smaller house? Lots of great townhouses

I read that Tim Keller's twin focus was sin & grace. I saw that. I also sensed a beckoning to Jesus.

Tim Keller’s influence on the evangelical church in my generation was immense. My own thinking on so many issues was deeply shaped by him, not to mention my work for @TGC (a ministry which would not exist were it not for Keller). What a gift he was.
