@Bennytouzine Yes, indeed. Please tell all your moroccan friends not to go. It sucks, make sure they know it.

@FrenchAreBrown @_Sosthene_ That's where you make 0 sense. Galicia is celtic, genetically. People on the southern coast of France are genetically almost identical to Italians, you can look that up :)
English

@Longswordplus15 @_Sosthene_ Galicians are genetically more mediterranean than any french ape.
Genetics is what truly matters, not geography.
English

@FrenchAreBrown @MonOpinionftg @CarcamanoSlayer @_Sosthene_ I don't think you know much about the french south. They are absolutely mediterranean, culturally, hisotrically and geographically. It's roughly 5 million people, so not that many, but they're not less mediterranean than someone from Madrid or Lisbon. Have a great day ☀️
English

@MonOpinionftg @CarcamanoSlayer @Longswordplus15 @_Sosthene_ False, the portuguese are genetically/ethnically and culturally mediterranean, much more than any kind of French monkey.
Being mediterranean is not a matter of geography nowadays.
English

@_Sosthene_ C'est débile. Un niçois est méditérannéen. Un marseillais aussi. Un espagnol de Galice ne l'est pas.

GameStop appears no closer to taking over eBay. It upped its stake in the auction site anyway. trib.al/yVL2ESC

@ReesePolitics After half a decade of ZERO SHAREHOLDER VALUE, if people still vote yes for dilution and pay package for the jew @ryancohen, then its true goyim are stupider than animals lol. $GME

BREAKING: GameStop Corp. files DEF 14A informing shareholders of the following:
-The annual meeting will be held on July 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., Central Daylight Time.
-Reiterating that CEO Ryan Cohen takes $0 salary and that his financial interests are 100% tied to the common stock.
$GME also issued a statement asking for the approval of increasing the authorized share count:
"We are also asking for your approval to increase our authorized share count. We view our equity as precious and do not intend to issue new shares lightly. A reserve of authorized shares ensures GameStop can act decisively when the right opportunity arises."

Apparently Reddit links don’t work on mobile now when tagging stocks. Here it is.

@WenBananas Where does this theory put GME on december 18th (asking for a friend)
English

Going to put this on record, see how it plays out with this $GME + $EBAY saga…
1) If Ryan says EPS for Gamestop shareholders will be “accretive” upon deal closure (not after), then I don’t see how this maths under $40/share GME. So how does this play out?
2) I think Ryan actually comes out with a call on earnings or before the shareholder meeting to discuss his plan to become “more than Gamestop the video game retailer”. This will set the tone for shareholders meeting. Also display example of capital allocation with EBAY unrealized gains… says “see what we can do?!” $GME to $25-27
3) 2.5 billy shares and a comp package are approved at shareholders meeting because most everyone sees “the plan” now (high-level) and believes.
4) Large investor/s step in to back the deal (Ichan, Sovereign Wealth Funds, etc.) $GME to $35-40 by Sept 2026
5) Share rise on backing. But more pressure is applied and Ryan produces a new plan to eBay Shareholders that has a higher $GME price behind it, better financing, and potentially higher $EBAY price ($150). $GME to $40-45 as deal approaches closure and everyone starts believing deal will succeed.
6) Deal closes 1Q27-2Q27. $GME $45-$60. Ryan starts the first of many growth engine transformations.
7) $GME to $1000 in 10 years.

@Ltrs_Frm_Across @PolitlcsUK Australia has no relevant politics and no supporting neighbours, and they did really well 🤷♂️
English

@PolitlcsUK I've no idea why the UK still bothers with this; the whole thing hasn't been entertaining for years. So much of it is just a political virtue signaling contest - Ukraine, Israel - or neighboring countries supporting each other. Australia being in it is just moronic.
English

@SynKavish @PolitlcsUK They bought their way into the contest through sponsorship (morocanoil). They also rigged the votes and still managed to lose. Two years in a row.

@TomGurley3459 @foxenflask As a belgian : InBev literally ruins every beer they touch. Their whole model is buying existing beer brands and making them as cheap to produce as possible. Sorry for your dad 😓
English

@foxenflask I remember my dad being excited for this deal in hopes Budweiser would start making good german beer again, unfortunately that part of the story never manifested
English

The best M&A precedent for the $GME x $EBAY deal is InBev’s $52 billion hostile takeover of Anheuser‑Busch in 2008.
Mergers and acquisitions are studied similar to how legal precedent is studied, to get an idea of how something might go down or what will happen next, while knowing that each case is still unique to its set of specifics. A thread.
In 2007, InBev generated about €14.4 billion of revenue with an EBITDA margin in the mid 30s. It was a Belgian Brazilian brewing group that had been publicly listed on Euronext Brussels since 2000, when its predecessor Interbrew did an IPO there, but it was not a company that most U.S. investors followed closely. Anheuser-Busch, by contrast, was a 150 year old American institution with deep political connections and a board that treated itself as untouchable. InBev acquired it anyway.
