On my 16th birthday, my mom took me out of school to take my driving test. Same for everyone I knew. Even if you couldn’t afford your own car, you could beg the use of the family station wagon occasionally. Freedom. Independence. Heck, privacy on a date! Conor McGregor lost because of his Nike TNs. Which ruined his biomechanics. Most people don't realise that large soles collapse the foot's arch. This alters stability, causing the body to compensate and turn the legs and feet outward. It is clearly visible that his gait has changed; he walks with duck feet. When you walk like that, it weakens the ankles, and this is what led to his round 1 injury. Even if you are the best fighter in the world, you still can't replace natural human design. We are supposed to train barefoot. McGregor returned to the octagon, but his biomechanics did not.
