I think I’ve had two major phases where I started taking my health seriously. The first was when I was around 15-16. I had really bad acne, board exam stress definitely didn’t help, and I was willing to try everything. And I did. I cut out sugar, milk, and basically every food the internet claimed would make acne worse. My skin eventually cleared up. It’s been years since I’ve been to my dermatologist because over time I’ve figured out what doesn’t suit my body. I also had a few bad experiences with dermatologists, so learning what worked for me became really important.( I still do eat shit that aggravates my skin sometimes) I wasn’t always consistent with working out, but cutting down on sugar was the one habit that stuck. Fast forward a few years, I started running because of my mom and my best friend. That didn’t last too long after my best friend moved away, but it taught me that staying active is so much easier when you have someone doing it with you. Then a few months ago, I had laparoscopic surgery and couldn’t work out for almost three months. One day I put on my favorite pair of jeans and they just didn’t fit the same. It sounds small, but that was my “okay, this is it” moment. I joined a gym, and my trainer asked me to get a full body blood test before we planned anything. Unsurprisingly, I was severely deficient in vitamin D and B12. Seeing that report made me realize health isn’t just about how you look, it’s about what’s happening inside your body too. Another thing I’ve noticed is that after cutting down sugar for so many years, even things that people say are “just a little sweet” taste way too sweet to me now. I still love ice cream though. 😭 I also developed sensitive teeth, which is another reminder to take better care of myself. I’m still nowhere near where I want to be, but I don’t think that’s the point anymore. I just want to become the best version of myself. Stronger, healthier, and someone who can stay consistent even when life gets in the way. That’s the habit I hope never leaves me.

I grew up watching people I love eat well, but neglect their health in other ways. A personal loss made me realise I wanted to live differently, for my future. The food I eat, the way I move, the care I give my body, it has made both my body and mind a better place to live in.

Whenever my kid asked me to play, I say later & then feel sad for my kid seeing his sad face Then one day I Saw my tired, puffy face in the mirror & decided to stop saying “later” to life. Coz I realised health is being present for the people you love @LoopHealthHQ @UltrahumanHQ

Watching someone dear slip away right in front of you... When it could have been avoided.. if they had only listened to the signs & symptoms their body was giving them... Everyone was left saying..If only he had done this... if only he had done that... That 'if only' gave me a reason to hope... a resolve to never take health for granted. Not just because you are the one who suffers..but because an entire family suffers behind you. @LoopHealthHQ @UltrahumanHQ

I wore late nights and coffee like badges of honor. On my birthday, my mom asked for one gift: “Take care of yourself.” It clicked. I started showing up every day. A year later, I’m 12 kg lighter, stronger, and more confident. The real win was becoming someone I can count on. 💚

I grew up in a humble tribal village 30 km outside of Ooty. We had this massive beautiful waterfall. Now, I was a pretty lazy guy, but I had this recurring delusion that if I just scaled to the top of that mountain, I’d discover I possessed elite royal genetics. I was certain my ancestor was a legendary warrior-king who was backstabbed by family, and that my destiny awaited. To build the functional strength and core stability required for my royal bloodline, I skipped yoga and gym and went straight to deadlifting massive, temple-sized boulders by the river. Unfortunately, my epic hero’s journey hit a major roadblock on day one: a massive L4-L5 disc bulge. Turns out, not only don't I have warrior-king genetics yet, but rather I have IT-worker genetics. While on strict bed rest, the dream came to me again. The prophecy shifted. It told me that before I can scale the mountain, I must first wear a special kind of smart ring that will grant me superpowers to understand myself. Only then can I face my elusive final battle. I am ready for my destiny. Are you in the journey, @LoopHealthHQ?

My biggest health plan was… ✨ Good genetics. ✨ I genuinely believed my DNA had this covered. I even questioned why I was paying so much for health insurance every year. “What are the chances?” I thought. Life has a funny way of humbling overconfidence. Someone close to me got diagnosed with something that reminded me health doesn’t care how lucky you’ve been so far. So now I still trust my genes. I just don’t outsource all the work to them anymore. Since then, I’ve stopped treating health like a backup plan. I lift. I eat better. I track my numbers. I actually read my (and my fam’s) health reports instead of just downloading them. Turns out the best insurance policy is the one you build every day long before you ever need to make a claim. 💚

@LoopHealthHQ @UltrahumanHQ It clicked the day my doctor told me my habits were aging me faster than time. I gave up the late-night junk food and built a rock-solid habit of walking 10k steps daily. Reclaiming my energy was the best choice I ever made. @LoopHealthHQ @UltrahumanHQ

Always been a sporty kid and yet an equally (if not more) lazy adult lol. And tbh, I never took my health seriously, well, until, my body made that decision for me Over the last 2 years I gained 25 kgs, was depressed, barely got out of bed, and on top of that, decided it was the perfect time to go all in on my startup. Yepp, great timing. So obviously what followed was anxiety, burnout, skipping meals, smoking, and eventually landing in the hospital for a week because I couldn’t even swallow water. That should’ve been the wake-up call, right? Nope I spent the next 10 months hating my body and how I looked, starting workouts every Monday and doing so much that I fail to show up any other day of the week :) Ate extremely healthy or not at all full day, only to order ice cream and fries and binge them at night. Idk what happened on 4th Feb this year, but I just changed overnight. Cold turkey. Still don’t understand the reason. Today I’m 5 months cigarette-free, moving my body again, eating SO much better, and have started liking my body again. Only half way there and still a LONG way to go. But we ain’t stopping this time. Day I decided to change vs today

Someone close to me passed away last winter, and before they died, they made me promise one thing: scatter their ashes from the highest point in our region. I hadn't hiked in a long time. I hadn't run in a long time. And the path was fraught with danger. But a promise is a promise. To make things worse, I was also saddled with their teenage kid, who'd never really liked me, kept asking inane questions, and was generally annoying. On our way up, a shirtless man showed up uninvited, said he was "just visiting the area," and then tried to fight us for no reason. It turned out he was some minor local celebrity with anger issues of his own and a mother who kept sending him after us. We beat him twice, and he kept coming back like a bill collector. Then a hunter fellow started following us too, dropping cryptic notes about our "destiny," which was unsettling because I hadn't told anyone we had one. Along the way, I found out the kid wasn't quite who I thought he was. Let's just say his family was a lot more well-connected than I ever knew, and certain relatives up in the hills were extremely interested in meeting him. I was, frankly, the last to know. We fought our way through freezing rivers, orcs, a very rude giant snake, and one extremely judgmental old man that wouldn't stop commenting on my grumpiness or my fitness. Food ran out twice. Sleep basically never happened. I know - I measured. Using my old-gen ring. Every step, every heartbeat, every minute dozed off. Despite its inaccuracies. We made it to the peak eventually. Scattered the ashes. Found out the whole trip had been building to something much bigger waiting for us next, which nobody thought to mention beforehand. Family & friendship, honestly. Now we are off on our onward journey for what's next. The kid's got some big future apparently. Prophesied and all that. I would appreciate the new ring so I can track my fitness more accurately.
