@XiaoyuZhuo Thanks! I will email you these data. I think I remember reading that those elements with an envelope are older, and I would expect they are from the 7o and/or 7bc subfamilies. I haven't formally checked as our analysis focuses on the LTRs

@LordLump I think it is comprehensive and convincing... Separate LTR7 to new subfamilies did make a big difference here! Do you mind send me the coordinates of your new LTR7 in hg38? Only some of HERVH have the envelope domain, I want to see if there is any correlation with new subfamilies

@LordLump Yes … that’s why we want to take a step back if someone has poor from & fix things until we can start loading again. There’s a difference between Perfect, Good & Poor. Poor form we want to not push though, Good we have some things to work towards but can load up.
