@disneytipsguy Pay for as many things up front as you can so you're not putting your hand in your pocket continuously. Check in at the Lobby rather than going straight to room. It's part of the overall experience.

When a first timer planning a Walt Disney World vacation asks for help, what are the first three things to say to them right away? 1. It's going to be expensive, be prepared. 2. Stay on property for your first time. 3. One park per day for you first time. Did I miss anything?

@disneytipsguy Tourists may, to avoid unpredictable exchange rates and fees. The fees creep up over a couple of weeks, like the daily admin charges on the toll passes.

Do people still use cash at Disney parks?

@hebb0r @VirginAtlantic If you push a bit they will move other travellers around to accommodate you, I went on check in early to get a decent seat, checked in at the airport, and between the desk and the gate they changed it to a cruddy one so they could sit a family together 🤷‍♂️

I’ve never flown with my family using @VirginAtlantic before. I’ve now found out that to sit together, you have to pay to pre-book your seats. For a family of five that is £220 EACH WAY. That’s on top of your actual ticket, so it’s cost me £440 to sit with my kids on the plane!

@KnightspurHouse A few years back we stood for 2 hours with a spotting scope just to catch a glimpse of a nesting pair of ospreys. Then you go over to Merritt or Clearwater and every other lamp post has one sat on top 😁
