@shebringsjoy Never buy glasses where you had exam. Plenty of online or eyeglass world. Eyebuydirect glasses come with anti glare, anti blu, scratch resistant no extra charge! My hubby has the coke bottles too $60 dollars and has had them now 2 years! They always have a good deal!

What is the point of insurance, even? My glasses broke last week- it’s been almost two years since I had an eye exam, so I scheduled an appointment for this afternoon. I went through the whole process, only to find at the end that the exam itself was $45, and the ugly glasses, with no glare reduction, coatings of any type at all, single vision, etc…. Are $321. I literally just paid the exam copay, and left. So I just paid for a service I can’t even utilize, when I am having trouble putting groceries on the table. Note: I am coke bottle glasses near-sided. I cannot drive, cook, etc, without my glasses. Like- why isn’t this covered by my insurance? This is worse than the fact that dental care isn’t covered. This is what I mean when I say I am tired of living this way. What is the point of this?

@ronsterd89 You can’t possibly expect a kid to keep this much organized! Adults would have a hard time with this much stuff. Put up toys she can play with over next few years. Donate the toys she’s too old to play with. Elimination is the key here, then introduce chore chart, and reward.

I’m embarrassed asf to post this, but HELP. How do I make this stop? I clean it for her, it still ends up like this.. she cleans it, she cries about it and it still ends up like this.. I’m OVER it. I tried grounding her. Taking electronics. Cleaning it for her. Helping her clean it. & NOTHING.PHASES.HER. She genuinely doesn’t care. I told her yesterday “if your room doesn’t get cleaned today, you’re grounded” she looked at me and said “ok? I don’t care.” I even asked to remove it because once a person came to us for an order that they ordered from my store, Tedooo app, it was such a shame that the buyer accidentally saw it. We don’t live nasty. Our house is always spotless. HOW DO I GET MY GrandKID TO JUST KEEP A CLEAN DANG ROOM? She’s 8 if that makes any difference for any type of tips, ya girl is tired.........

How should we, as a society, handle violence from young children? In 2022, a 5 year old child beat a teacher unconscious in Florida. The incident at Pines Lakes Elementary started when the 5 year old special ed student had to be removed from a class for violent behavior. The teacher took him to a “calm down” room, where he proceeded to beat her unconscious. The boy weighed 50-60 pounds, and the teacher was described as 5’4 and slender. The teacher was hospitalized with a severe concussion and other injuries, requiring a future surgery. Reportedly, it was the 3rd time the student attacked this teacher. Each time resulted in the teacher being hospitalized. No charges were filed due to the age of the child.

@ADHDForReal Not just goes and goes but one thing to another and 5 different songs going at same time and only same 5 lyrics of each song! It’s exhausting! Only rest is when we FINALLY fall asleep.

This might be a meme account but ADHD is really kicking my ass right now. What do you guys do when your mind keeps running constantly and it just goes and goes and goes and goes without ever stopping? I’m stuck in a constant state of restlessness.
