@sh_mallows @MetalYoshi @_ProfeticEye_ That’s because they haven’t done their research, best skiing/snowboard: Breckenridge, Monarch, Great Sand dunes, Rocky Mountains, Pikes Peak, also all four places you mention will pretty much have high humidity, humidity sucks, Colorado barely has any.

@Rufus_Grimsley @MetalYoshi @_ProfeticEye_ A decade ago I was visiting California and tried In-n-Out, completely underwhelming. They came out here and I tried it again, the drive through line was insane, didn’t realize it would be a 30 min wait. Whataburger has an okay chicken tender sandwich.

@Lordwolf7373 @MetalYoshi @_ProfeticEye_ That’s what I’m saying. I grew up in Texas so whataburger was ubiquitous, but I never considered it more than an ok fast food burger. I finally tried In-n-out and same thing. It’s okay but really falls short of the praise it gets.

@SCShipyards Why the hell would you ram with a drill, clearly it’s meant to sneak up on enemy ships and cut huge holes in them under the cover of darkness.

@SandyofCthulhu In Chiang’s defense, most of his good troops were all killed by the Japanese. Without their interference the Kuomintang would have won the civil war.

I wish Chiang hadn’t been such a sucky leader. He might’ve won the Chinese Civil War. He started it in 1945 with 3x as many troops as the commies. Yet he lost. I admit Mao got massive aid from Stalin & Truman let Chiang dangle but still.

I traveled to Belgium in the early 2000s, to pick up my son who'd spent 2 years there preaching the gospel to the wicked heathens of that land. We were in the Walloon area, and we came across some historical site. There was a big metal plaque with raised letters, explaining what had happened there. The top part of the plaque was in Dutch, the bottom part was in French. The French part had been cleaned and polished so the letters stood out clearly. The Dutch part was blackened and corroded and almost unreadable. So that was the state of affairs in Charleroi around 2004. Later we went to a restaurant in Bruges. We were having trouble communicating with the owner, so I asked my son (who speaks fluent French) if he should talk to her in French. I said, "She'd speak French, right?" He said, "Yes, she speaks French. But if I speak French to her, we'll get worse service." So we got by with broken English. Please note that Belgium is the shining gem of how all Europe can get along.

@emusworld84 @ShitpostGate You forgot the best part, when these rats were introduced to other rat colonies not part of the experiment they spread the bad behaviors.

The "Universe 25" experiment it is one of the most terrifying experiments in the history of science, which, through the behavior of a colony of mice, is an attempt by scientists to explain human societies. The experiment involved creating a utopian environment for a population of rats. The enclosure provided an abundance of food, water, nesting materials, as well as ample space for rats to roam and socialize. Initially the rat population thrived and their numbers increased rapidly. However, as the rat population grew, social problems began to emerge. Rats became increasingly aggressive, territorial, antisocial. Females showed more and more aggressive behavior, isolation elements and lack of reproductive mood. There was a low birth rate and, at the same time, an increase in mortality in younger rodents. Then, a new class of male rodents appeared, the so-called "beautiful mice". They refused to mate with the females or to "fight" for their space. All they cared about was food and sleep. At one point, "beautiful males" and "isolated females" made up the majority of the population. As time went on, juvenile mortality reached 100% and reproduction reached zero. Among the endangered mice, homosexuality was observed and, at the same time, cannibalism increased, despite the fact that there was plenty of food. John Calhoun repeated the same experiment 25 more times, and each time the result was the same.

@KevinCastley @Rothmus So was the Soviet Union, and they aren’t around any more. Also the CCP murdered a shit ton of their females because the big brained atheists decided they had too many people and needed to shrink their birth rates, they are now advocating for teen pregnancy.

U.S. intelligence assets have begun to see indications Iran is taking steps to deploy some of its 2,000 to 6,000 naval mines of Iranian, Chinese and Russian-origin into shipping lanes across the Strait of Hormuz, utilizing smaller crafts that can carry 2 to 3 mines each, officials tell CBS News.

"ThE sTrAiTs ArE cLoSeD!" No they aren't. Lloyd's of London is just charging exorbitant insurance rates. And if the ships were never there, they don't need insurance, right? Oh, sure, in the first few days, Iran might have been able to do something, but certainly not now.
