@_Red_Herrings This is still good but I like that the DBD skin was closer to the original color palette The orange skin contrasts with the white teeth really nice and the purple tentacles stick out really well and your eyes are just drawn immediately to them

@mcuspider616 I also preferred the slight bit of Spidey/Frank banter from the leaked trailer than what we got in the final cut.

I really hope we get it in the second trailer especially the part where he swings past the camera at the end cause that shit looked GOODDDDD

@Skoomtrap Take from this what you will: The ever-worshipped "ballistics" line (which isn't even a good pun since it's grammatical nonsense) doesn't exist in the OG Japanese script at all. The original line is just "Nice boobs."

@lastchalice I don't know that 'punk rock' is the phrase I'd use over something like 'nu metal' -- but yeah 'odd and specific Y2K' is correct. These bits are "of their era" in a 'rule of cool' way I sincerely hope isn't outright abandoned in the remake.

Code Veronica has this punk rock, odd and specific Y2K vibe that I’m really digging.

@acefandoms @lunarninaa It's just in direct contradiction with his character arc across the two films, where he actually becomes less of a dick and more of a hero, particularly by the end of the second film -- and again, doesn't explain a New Yorker suddenly turning into a strong Bostonian.

@LoreEvil @lunarninaa true but also so many years pass in-between that I feel like Deadpool Johnny is one potential logical outcome of his character. Someone who starts out cocky and lets power and fame go to his head til he becomes a full on asshole.

@thequannnic Tad unrelated, but as a fan of both characters (who has read many a comic) I don't really understand why there's such a HUGE push for THIS particular page from Civil War to be adapted to the big screen. I feel like Spidey and Frank have had other better interactions to pull from.

@Dreamboum This game is absolute dogshit -- but I love it because it's dogshit. It knows what it is and doesn't attempt to be anything but. Also, compared to many of it's 'cinematic' contemporaries, it's aged incredibly well, no doubt because gaming has become much more polished & sterile.

Kane & Lynch 2 is one of the coolest game I've played in years. Such an improvement over the first one it's not even funny. The use of camcorder shaky cam effects set in Shanghai with blown out audio turns this into one of the most intense game I've ever played. A classic

I just finished my first playthrough of Silent Hill Shattered Memories and I understand now why some people really enjoyed it. I plan to get the wii version and replay it. #SilentHill #SilentHillShatteredMemories

@RawbertBeef They've all already done it. DeNiro was in Joker, Skarsgård plays Selvig across the MCU, Pitt appeared as Vanisher in Deadpool 2 for a cup of coffee, Craig initially signed on as Balder the Brave for Doctor Strange 2 but was swapped out for Krasinski's Reed Richards due to COVID.

This is kinda crazy. Why does nobody want it? Is it the stigma associated with playing an abusive father? The stigma associated with comic book movies? Both?

Born Again S2 starts off feeling very much like the "solid" episodes of Born Again. Which, to me, lacked all the soul that made the Netflix show so special. It's doing so much leg work to de-sterilize the world, add back authentic grit and texture to the supporting characters that were purely exposition machines in S1, so certain moments and beats feel "off". The first few episodes had me scared that this series would continue to feel like damage control for bad boardroom choices. But... Once you hit the mid point, it completely evolves and morphs into, not just a love letter (blatant apology) to the original series (you guys won't believe me until you see it), but a new beast entirely. Setting the course for a completely new era that takes the best of old, while establishing a fresh path. Allowing the world and the characters to not just be stale imitations with too many limitations, but to be, truly, "Born Again". The back half had me smiling ear to ear. Expect a vague mostly non-spoiler video sometime in April.

Not gonna lie, it was awesome seeing Survivor, Survivor 2, Gaiden, Dead Aim, ORC and even Umbrella Corps in here. It's awesome when a franchise isn't ashamed of its perceived lumps and celebrates them as a part of its history instead.
