@BoxingEnth @RicoVerhoeven Rico should fight a top 10 heavyweight next. He outlanded Usyk 113 to 112. Fury is fighting AJ. Dubois is fighting Wardley again. So maybe Rico vs Hrgović, Ajagba or if that doesn't work out crossover fight vs Ngannou.

@CSTodayNews Kickboxing is a better boxing base than Muay Thai. Why? Kickboxing focuses on fast boxing combos, footwork, & hand speed just like boxing. Muay Thai uses heavy low kicks, clinches, elbows, and knees, which can create bad boxing habits.

Is Kickboxing the BEST base for boxing?

@ArjunTalksFight Moses can beat Usyk. With his controlled aggression, elite power & effective body punching he’ll defeat Usyk. But Usyk will probably retire before he gets a chance.

Moses Itauma is probably the Best HW in the World The old guard is all slowing down and no young prospect seems near his level

@TruthfulUfcFan I’m of fan of both kickboxing and boxing. Unbias take Rico outlanded Usyk 113 to 112 punches. But Usyk didn’t think he be this good at boxing. Tied going into 11th round Usyk dropped him & early stoppage . If it with into 12th maybe Rico recovers or maybe Usyk KOs him.

@stokedsport It will be competitive. Topuria will land some counters but with his height & reach disadvantage Garcia will catch with a hook and knock him out. Topuria has never fought an elite boxer it would be a huge step up. Max Holloway is not an elite boxer.

@qpe It's a combination of things. Rico better then expected. And Usyk struggled with his pressure & Rico awkward fighting style.

@UsykFC I remember that fight. Good performance by Vitali. The issue is in America Kickboxing is so overlooked and underrated as a sport. I’m a Kickboxing fan but even Taekwondo is more popular here. This Rico performance can bring some more attention to Kickboxers.

Vitali Klitchsko a former kick boxer who transitioned to boxing was robbed outta a win vs Lennox Lewis He became an all time great too I guess boxing fans are to stupid to understand multiple kick boxers have transitioned to boxing and have had successful careers

@HelenYeeSports Oscar De La Hoya. I’m too young to have seen Tyson’s prime. For me it's Oscar because of all his big fights I saw growing up.

Which fighter got you into combat sports?

@TheLatinSnake_ Heavyweight is the 1 division where crossover argument has legs not because non-traditional boxers are as skilled, but because 1 punch can erase the skill gap. Rico/Ngannou are 270 pound giants who hit hard enough to make any boxer mortal. Thats not the case in lighter divisions.

The worst part of #UsykRico fight is that now more MMA and Kickboxers will now really & sincerely continue to believe they can beat a world champion in boxing. Truth is, they may be able to compete, but not BEAT a motivated professional boxer.

@ZacPauga Yes especially in America cardio kickboxing diluted the identity of Kickboxing in the public mind. I’m training in kickboxing & muay thai & I like both. And Glory kickboxing I enjoy watching the most.

Unironically I do think the K1/dutch kickboxing style is the best base for being successful and entertaining at the same time. I have no idea why the average person in the states still thinks of satin pants when you say kickboxing

@BlindBearMedia I heard Rico turned down UFC because the pay was too low. He got 16 million to fight Usyk. He’s not making that in UFC. But Rico would be great in MMA with his kickboxing base like Alex Pereira or prime Adesanya & with his size & strength he could build some wrestling skills.

Rico Verhoeven needs to come to the UFC Boxing is a dying rigged sport. That stoppage was an absolute disgrace #RicoUsyk

@ProBoxingFans People don't listen to the boxing greats enough. Tyson is explaining there are no easy fights to Moses. Usyk should of trained just as hard as he did for Dubois & Fury.
