@RepMTG @RepMTG do you know that Article 2 of the constitution does not give absolute power to the president? Know your facts Marjorie!!

Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸
I have co-sponsored every Article of Impeachment introduced in the House against unelected judges who believe they have the power to usurp Article II and override the authority of the duly elected President of the United States, chosen by a majority of the American people. U.S. District Judge James Boasberg recently ordered that deportation flights carrying Venezuelan gang members—criminals responsible for the deaths of American citizens—be turned around mid-flight. This ruling is not just an affront to the millions of Americans who support President Trump’s mission to secure our country, it is entirely nonjusticiable. President Trump is our Commander-in-Chief and was exercising the powers fully vested in him by Article II of the Constitution. No judge at any level, including the Supreme Court, can limit the constitutional powers granted to the President. Issuing such a weaponized, politically motivated judgment in bad faith undermines the credibility of our entire judicial system and demands immediate action from Article I to defend and uphold Article II. Impeachment and removal from office is the constitutionally prescribed remedy, and it is urgently needed. Unfortunately, Judge Boasberg is not alone. Other judges have similarly issued political rulings designed to undercut President Trump and his administration. No single District Court judge in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, or anywhere else has more authority than the Presidency. That’s why I’ve co-sponsored Articles of Impeachment against five federal judges so far. I’m also in support of legislative options to reign in rogue judges trying to play President. However, the easiest way to stop these rogue judges is for Congress to do our job and pass our own budget and policies through one big beautiful bill just like President Trump has asked us to. We are LAWMAKERS and we are the legislative body that can fund, defund, and make laws and then judges have to rule with the law. No more CR’s. No more kick the can down the road. Congress needs to take action and make President Trump’s agenda and executive orders the LAW.

Thank you to my expert witnesses and those who traveled to the Roundhouse for this hearing. This idea is not dead. I look forward to partnering with the State Auditor to set up this type of office. Transparency is coming for you, the taxpayer.
New Mexico Senate Republicans@NMSenate_GOP

Democrats vote against Transparency Today, Senator @ElectJayCBlock presented SB 484, the Government Accountability to Taxpayer Act. Its purpose would be to identify and remove waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars at the state government level. The bill was tabled in Senate Rules Committee; however, Republicans remain committed to increasing Government Transparency. #nmpol #DOGE #gato

@ElectJayCBlock You were not “limited” like you feel like you were, have some respect for other people who want to be herd. I heard every part of the meeting. Glad you came to your senses to realize there is already a department like this and creating a new one is double spending @ElectJayCBlock

After being limited to only 30 minutes of debate by the chair of the rules committee, GATO was tabled. Seeing the writing on the wall, I also voted to table the bill. Thank you to all who showed up to let the committee know that New Mexicans want to completely get rid of fraud, waste, and abuse in our state government. I will continue to fight for transparency and accountability. This is just the beginning!

Canada imposes high tariffs on U.S. dairy under USMCA, like 241% on milk and 298% on butter, limiting exports beyond quotas. Disputes focus on tariff-rate quota management, with the U.S. claiming restricted access due to Canada's favoring of local processors. Despite 0% tariffs within quotas, Canada's production quotas and price controls hinder U.S. farmers, hitting quotas only 5% of the time, fueling trade tensions.

Would you believe these insane tariffs that the U.S. is bullying Canada with? 250% for milk? 291% for butter? 208% for whey? 241% for CHEESE? Oh wait - those are actually tariffs that Canada imposed on the U.S. last year.

Additional context: People seem determined to argue that not mentioning the quota fundamentally changes the point I made in the video. It doesn’t. The quotas are only hit 5% of the time. But that’s because Canada disincentivizes American farmers from even hitting the quota. Canada uses production quotas, price controls, and import restrictions to match supply with domestic demand, ensuring stable prices for Canadian farmers. This system inherently limits foreign competition, as Canada prioritizes self-sufficiency in these sectors. The quotas under USMCA are structured in a way that makes it difficult for U.S. exporters to fully utilize them. One major issue (from an American perspective) is how Canada administers these quotas. The U.S. has repeatedly argued that Canada allocates the majority of quota access—sometimes 80-85%—to Canadian processors rather than making it available to a broader range of importers, like retailers or food service providers. This practice, which has been the subject of multiple USMCA dispute panels, limits the ability of U.S. producers to sell directly to end users who might pay higher prices, forcing them to sell to processors at lower rates. So the quotas are rarely hit, but it’s not because U.S. farmers don’t want to hit them. It’s because Canada has protectionist policies that even make hitting the quotas difficult. There’s nothing wrong with that - Canada’s government is trying to do the best by Canadians. And now Trump is trying to do best by Americans.
