#lawtwitter Can a DA change a law during trial if he disagrees with it? "Intent to kil" is required for a Capital Murder conviction, but the DA told the jury he disagrees implying it's not required then admits I didn't kill anyone & there was no robbery at all. O Corpus Delicti.

NEW CCA opinion. I'm no appellate expert. But I know that if you don't include a transcript or any type of record of what happened in the trial court, then your client is going to lose 100% of the time.

@TNCrimDefense It happened to me. The attorney appointed by the judge to file my direct appeal didn't list any citations to the record to support the argument. This is called sabotaging an appeal. This happens when an attorney doesn't want to fight for the client.

@msolurin My question would be what should a lawyer do when it's the judge himself encouraging, enabling, & involved in misconduct during trial making it impossible for the lawyer to perform their ethical duties & properly defend their client? What action should be taken in this scenario?

I am so full of food right now & it wasn't even that much. I'm positive that this will last me 2 days & it's just one thing. I shopped for how I would if I had a normal appetite vs the one I currently have. Those groceries will likely last through the end of the year easily.

@larabazelon I'm one of the wrongfully convicted. The most disheartening thing I've encountered is there are advocates who are themselves practicing discrimination in regards to who they advocate for. Lady Justice is suppose to be blind but she isn't. Something about me she doesn't like...

@AggravatingCir1 @thewoodsfdn I was sentenced to LWOP, the other death penalty, as a juvenile & they admit I didn't kill anyone. The court gave incorrect jury instructions & I am relentlessly trying to bring attention to the fact that I'm wrongfully convicted with proof of misconduct but no one is interested.

According to the stock guy, prison beds are real estate so in essence Department of Corrections & the Board of Paroles & Pardons are real estate agents...

& $3B is cheap for a prison. Why? Because of all the real estate $GEO owns They own hundreds of prisons in the United States totaling 56,200 owned beds These prisons are held on the balance sheet w/ a historical cost of $2.3 billion, but they're worth much much more than that
