@sharron_honey As mum to two teens with ASC and complex needs, my experience (echoed by a lot of other parents) is that CAMHS are so stretched they can only take kids in crisis, but of course once they’re in crisis, they’re often unable to engage and are then signed off. It’s a nightmare.

It’s been a tough couple of shifts, highlighting the need for better early intervention services for kids with mental health issues. Staff doing all they can, parents with nowhere to turn!!! Kids at an all time low, exam pressures, peer pressures and the pressure of TV …..1
