If you can't understand that building a tolerant and inclusive society requires excluding intolerance, then please just keep rereading the first half of this tweet and thinking about it until it clicks. Thanks in advance!

Haaretz reporter had the story of the Mossad chief threatening the top ICC prosecutor but Israeli authorities said if he published, he’d "suffer the consequences and get to know the interrogation rooms of the Israeli security authorities from the inside."

I really do not understand the calculus of constantly insulting young people, and presuming what they do or do not know. Also, college students during the CRM didn’t have to understand the entire history of racism to know segregation was immoral. Did BLM protestors have to know the entire history of policing to protest what happened to George Floyd? This sort of haughty dismissal is just strange to me.

Hillary Clinton criticizes pro-Palestinian protests and says many young people she’s spoken to “don't know very much at all about the history of the Middle East or, frankly, about history in many areas of the world.”

How quickly the state responds with violent force when the ‘crime’ is peaceful free speech protest of war crimes at home compared to “no red line” and “here’s billions more” for homicidal maniac bombing of children & civilians in Gaza. You now know all you need to know. The rest is up to you.

Remember, pepper spray is oil based. If you get sprayed DO NOT rub your eyes. Immediately blink as much as you can to wash out some of the oil with your own tears. Then, wash your eyes with baby shampoo or dilute dishwashing soap and rinse copiously. Water alone won't do much. Also, take out your contacts.

The assassination of political rivals as an official act. Understand what the Trump team is arguing for here. Take it seriously and at face value. This is not a game.

Sotomayor: If the president decides that his rival is a corrupt person and he orders the military to assasinate him, is that within his official acts to which he has immunity? "That could well be an official act," Trump lawyer John Sauer says

Hey there’s something I want to be clear about: if you’re a lawyer that stands in front of the highest court of the land and argues that homeless people should be criminalized for existing, you are bad and you should feel bad. You deserve to be booed everywhere you go forever.

While this seems like a good thing, it is not If an armed squad can round up citizens and lock them in cages without enforcing an actual law, then they are NOT “law enforcement officers” They’re a military regime.

If you support how these folks voted, I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to let them know. They will be under relentless pressure and attack. It is important to show support - on the inside, it can often feel like there isn’t. Call, write, post. It makes a difference.

I'll take this one. The idea that affirmative action or diversity, equity & inclusion policies equal lower standards is something that a lot of people believe. Instead of citing what "I believe" like Elon did, let's use facts & a something I like to called "math" A thread.
The Vigilant Fox 🦊@VigilantFox

Who Won? Elon Musk Debates Don Lemon Over the Impact of DEI Programs Lemon repeatedly said, “There’s no evidence” that DEI programs are lowering medical standards, a comment @ElonMusk believes is a “false statement.” Who is right? Musk calls on Community Notes to settle the score. LEMON: “There was a repost of Ben Shapiro that you claim that DEI is killing people. Specifically, you point to medicine. You claim that DEI programs are putting people at risk. Do you really believe this to be true? And what evidence do you have to support it?” MUSK: “What I was referring to there was that if we lower the standards for doctors, if the test for a doctor is lowered, then the probability of them making a mistake and killing someone is obviously going to be higher.” LEMON: “Wait, say that again. I’m not sure I understand what you said. I want to make sure I understand what you’re saying.” MUSK: “Yes. If the status for passing medical exams and becoming a doctor, especially something like a surgeon, if the standards are lowered, then the probability that the surgeon will make a mistake is higher. They’re making mistakes in their exam. They may make mistakes with people — and that may result in people dying.” LEMON: “What evidence do you have, though, that they’re lowering the standards? There is no evidence of that.” MUSK: “I believe there is.” LEMON: “There’s no evidence of that, Elon. What is the evidence?” MUSK: “I believe they have literally lowered the standards at Duke University, and that is what the article was referring to. You are saying they have not lowered the standards?” LEMON: “There’s no evidence about lowering standards. And I think that there is —” MUSK: “I believe that is a false statement you’re making.” LEMON: “Okay, well, we’ll figure it out.” MUSK: “The interesting thing is, when this is posted on the X platform, there will be a whole bunch of things that rebut what you said and what I said. And so people can then make their own decision, based on the replies and the rebuttals and the community notes.”

There’s an under-reported trend across big US cities (including LA). Many are facing budget deficits – and preparing to make cuts to services. All of the deficits share a major cause: electeds gave big raises to police, despite an overall drop in crime. twitter.com/NBCNews/status…

A Gallup poll released this month found that 77% of Americans believe crime rates are worsening, but new FBI data and other statistics show otherwise. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/p…
