@grentontv I agree, on all fronts. I’m definitely weary of online killing locals. But in a digital riot survey I took a whole back there were some great ideas around supporting NN with digital supplements. I hope they take to it!

@Lovecore_FGC Testing groups / discords are the best way outside of just going to your LGS, I do hope for a digital client but I do also hope digital doesn't kill local scenes.

The amount of people trying to soft cheat on sims like TCGA and Rift Atlas is CRAZY lol Maybe i catch more of it cause I judge alot but wow is it almost impossible to test for the showdown im playing cause people soft cheat. When I call them out, they rage quit.

@zerodmg I was running this same thing a while back but no one seemed to care: riftboundrules.lol. Holds all errata data, rules changes in a diff format for people to view quickly. TUrns out, as the rules get worse and muddy, people need this type of thing...

The Riftbound rules PDFs are not ergonomic in my opinion and it makes it rough to pull up rules when I'm at an LGS. I decided to fix that and add some other features I thought would be useful like rule searching or diffs between the previous and latest rules. Link in replies!

Couldn’t close today unfortunately. Started day 2 with a 3-0 record and just needed to win 1 more to lock in T64. I ended up losing the last 2 matches, one to @Zrob0 who won Best Of Kha’Zix (CONGRATS DUDE!!! 🔥) & the other to an Irelia player who asked if I was playing the Hook variant because I didn’t see it in any of the 3 games. I ended up in 95th place, so I get to take home the Top 124 Vex Playmat! 😁 Super happy with my performance though! Riftbound is the goat tcg purely because it's a constant conversation. Reacting, talking, feels like an actual 1v1. And for someone who loves to chat and make new friends, it genuienly doesn't get better. The worst TCGs are the my turn, your turn, silence zero interaction.

As someone who played competitive sports growing up and only stopped due to concussions. I LOVE seeing pictures of testing houses. Idk why but its nostalgic even though I never did something like this. Good luck in Vancouver!

@AttackOnCards This is clearly judges being obtuse on purpose. Any human could have clearly identified the intent in your question. So not only do you need to fight the wording and ruling in Riftbound for clarity, you also need to fight the judges that are meant to help with ruling and clarity.

My one frustration from the Riftbound Sydney RQ. I have these units at a battlefield, my opponent attacks for 8 damage. I call and ask a Judge if I can bring back the LB that just died with the GM trigger, I then get told "I can't tell you, that would be coaching." 🙃

@Doowan_ Yeaaahhh I’m going to need all of these qotds on other platforms too. They’re such a great way to spread rule knowledge in a game where it’s sorely needed.

#Riftbound QOTD: I have a Reflection token that has copied Atakhan. I play another (real) Atakhan from my hand and kill the Reflection token as an additional cost. Can I play the (real) Atakhan for free?

I really hope that I don't have to explain Sacrifice rulings 1000x at locals as I have to online because people don't understand killing the unit is cost to play the spell...
