BabylonJS/Babylon.js promises a powerful, beautiful, simple rendering engine in friendly JavaScript. The contradiction is that last word, since friendly JavaScript is exactly where 3D performance goes to die on client laptops.

@SkyeSharkie @threejs design isn't code and web frameworks are a nightmare for writing games and authoring non-code assets (like maps) compared to the standard engine frameworks.

@Luaacro @colyseus Hey man. Looks awesome! I'm a newbie in game dev but if you don't mind my advice, try to watch l4d2 vs b4b video on YT by crowbcat. Or watch developer commentary inside l4d2 game. Maybe you will find things you can improve just in case you have commercial ambitions. Keep going🩵

@bandinopla @babylonjs Follow this documentation to create a material asset: editor.babylonjs.com/documentation/… and you'll see "Node Material" in options. I'm gonna add a section for node materials so the documentation will be more clear

@babylonjs em I missing something? I thought the editor would have the material node editor integrated into it? I can't find any way to customize a material using nodes besides changing the side panel's properties. 👀
