@sysjoltcom @tomshardware Yeah I'm following the same journey. Hell I removed AdSense from Gamesfromscratch.com because it was so awful. At least I practice what I preach I guess... ;)

@gamefromscratch @tomshardware I tried hard not to use ad block for years because I wanted to support sites. That was until one day I set my phone down and auto play video ads started and used my months bandwidth up before I noticed. Now I don't care. I still allow ads on a few sites I visit but not a lot.

Hey @tomshardware ... Is this really the experience you want people to have on your mobile site. Circled is the actual content... The rest is the BS I have to navigate around to try and read it. Your ad greed lost this reader at the least. The modern web is truly garbage.

@XorDev @TheGameVerse There is also a LOT of pop-in, especially on building facades/windows. The part that got me the most was the fisheye effect, I do not know if this is intended, but man it's pronounced at times. Like here... buildings are literally bending.

@TheGameVerse Needs darker shadows and stronger contrast. The cars look perfect, but feel overlayed in a gray world

Forza Horizon 6 optimisation should be studied. Developers achieved almost photorealistic visuals.

@ViconDev @tomshardware I really don't want to be the old man yelling at clouds stereotype but... Yeah... enshittification is real. Honestly in almost all aspects of life it seems. This is really the first "era" in my lifespan I feel as actually been an overall net regression in most facets.

@gamefromscratch @tomshardware The enshittyfication of software reached dystopian levels... an it is getting worse. Back in the day you just updated without thinking about it, nowadays I am scared the update will break something.

Unfolded it's even more pathetic. It's rampant greed/indifference like this that has lead to so many people running adblock. Not to count the number of people that don't - spend 2 seconds on your site and nope the F out. Do you really think this is good for your brand?

@gamefromscratch @futureretro_tv That's not true there are still people in Microsoft that could do this I think its internal politics were dotnet people are not allowed to touch game dev since it's a completely different department. They did an amazing job with Asp.net and Aspire. @DamianEdwards

@cyannick @godotengine It does exceptionally well at static meshes and shockingly well at most other tasks. It can struggle on 1 for 1 lighting conversion but you'd generally be doing that part yourself anyway

@gamefromscratch @godotengine I bought the plugins for unreal and Unity 🤣 I hope it’s worth it. At least if assets are converted that’s a big win.
