@RoKhanna unfortunately, both ways have proven to get the lowest return on investment. If govt spent it correctly and had full oversight I would agree with you, but I haven't seen that in my 56 years on earth.

This the basic difference. Republicans believe that that if you let the wealthy spend capital it will make Americans prosperous. Democrats believe that the federal government investing in the healthcare & education of our people will make America prosperous & productive.

this is probably unwise, lame, and definitely too long. Talarico will probably lose in November. I don't know if God has a hog or whatever. My experience with religion through the age of 20 or so was not a good one. When I needed to quit drinking, obviously finding spirituality and connecting with something bigger than yourself is a big part of that. Talarico started to make small waves around the time I was getting out of rehab. I know this is not what you guys are fighting about. But hearing the way he talked about his faith and how he carries it made me receptive to the message again. I have tried to make volunteering, community involvement, and being there for people struggling with drinking a big part of my life, and it feels good. Again, I doubt this is what people care to hear. But this is a Christian pastor who motivated a non-believer to listen to the words again, and to start to act. Given that the only people who have made fun of me for being an alcoholic are very public Christians, my guess is this will fall flat. But, and yes, I get how gay this is, hearing that dude speak helped motivate me to get over myself regarding Christianity.

This is a 100% lie, that the president himself has previously exposed. It is a physical impossibility for Iran to have posed an “imminent threat“ of a nuclear weapon within two weeks, when by President Trump‘s own assertion, all the nuclear facilities were “obliterated“ in operation midnight hammer last year, and he told us that all the reprocessed nuclear material is still under the mountains. He either lied about the material under the mountains, or he lied about the imminent threat, but both cannot simultaneously be true. It’s time for us to stop coddling this president, and allowing him to get by with such egregious lies, when he is destroying our reputation in the world and our economy here at home.

That was less about me and more about fighting precedent … It wasn’t important to me, so I was cool with conceding that.” Trevon Diggs was docked $500,000 last offseason for not meeting the attendance requirements laid out in his contract. Aubrey cuts that in half and hopes it will set a future precedent for his teammates.
