@farmingandJesus @Dog_W_A_Torch 'Whatever is bound on Earth by the Apostles and their successors is bound in heaven. Whatever loosed is loosed.' Unbiblical, Lizzie? I suggest you turn to Matthew 16:19. Oh but I'll have been reading that wrong, I'm sure.

Ok this is the thing … they say it’s a sin to presume you know Jesus Christ and therefore you will enter heaven by his blood. But they pray to people they presume entered heaven? Make it make sense.

@Nora86550493821 Matthew 24:11-13, Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32. By prophecying the end you are fulfilling the first verse and then trying to second guess God according to the second two. Stop now.

Jesus is (activating) his final signals before his return! Believers will ascend to the light to Jesus up into the sky, and utter darkness beneath. Jesus is on his way SOON! Be ready! 🙌🕊️🎺

Yes, folks, this IS orthodox Roman Catholic belief. We will see what happens on Tuesday as to how much "clarified" it becomes. But there is one fact that should be clear: there is nothing, absolutely nothing, in all of the true Apostolic deposit (known as the New Testament) that says anything even slightly resembling this. Nothing.

@LucaMarchiori @HwsEleutheroi I believe he, as a Christian, has the right to defend the Bible and its teachings. When he sees Roman Catholics teaching something the Bible does not support, he has a duty as a Christian to call it out. If you don’t see or understand that, that’s your problem.

@HwsEleutheroi Look, the reformation happened. You have the freedom to believe what you want without let or hindrance from the Catholic church. So let them believe what they want and God will sort you all out in the end. You don't have a duty to prescribe what they believe and neither do they.

The thief on the cross might be my favorite salvation story in the whole Bible. · Never fasted · Never baptized · Never took communion · Never recognized a Pope · Never prayed the the rosary · Never performed any works That man was saved by faith alone.

@Vitus_oss The Church ended mandatory veiling in the 1960s. Do you think you know better than the Pope, Cardinals, and Bishops who ended it?

@anje_mercado @farmingandJesus But yet you've been unable to come to the knowledge of truth. How's it difficult for y'all to understand Exo. 20:4, Lev. 26:1? What's that idol of Mary you bow to against the word of God? Who did Mary save in the scriptures? Pls answer with proofs, not vain words or explanations

@BishopJaxi You know nothing. The Bible existed the moment LORD GOD OPENED HIS MOUTH TO SPEAK " LET THERE BE LIGHT" and there came forth LIGHT. You're so small minded thinking the Bible is one book made up of printed matter of black and white. THE WORD OF GOD IS THE BIBLE .

@BishopJaxi Oh stop. The Bible was agreed upon organically. The medieval Roman church had nothing to do with it. The Apostles wouldn’t recognize the RCC if they had a Time Machine. They would be like… what do you have priests for? The sacrifice of Christ was not good enough?

@GeneChurch1776 @SecretFire79 Yeah, it is a lifeless object and you're more than welcome to destroy it because I don't pray to it nor do I think it brings me closer to God. It's just a tool I use to go from point A to point B. If you destroy it, my insurance will replace it.

This can only be true before Christ revealed God to us and told us if we reject Him, we reject God.

Are Christians and Muslims worshipping the same God? A lot of people responded to my previous post by saying, “But Muslims get essential things about God wrong—like the Trinity, or the divinity of Jesus. That’s not just a small detail, that’s fundamental.” And I get the concern. But this actually misses the point. The issue is not how correct someone’s theology is. The issue is who they’re referring to. And here’s the key: you can refer to the same being even while being radically wrong about that being’s nature—whether those errors are accidental or essential. Take water, for example. We now know it’s H₂O. But before atomic theory, people thought water was an element—not made of hydrogen and oxygen. That’s not a small mistake; that’s a core mistake about what water is. And yet, those people were still referring to water. They were wrong about its essence, but they weren’t talking about a different substance. Same referent, wrong description. Or take another example. Suppose two families go to the same doctor. One thinks he’s a normal human being. The other thinks he’s a super-advanced AI in a hyper-realistic body. They both can’t be right. But does that mean they’re referring to two different doctors? Of course not. They’re both referring to the same doctor—they’re just wildly disagreeing about who he really is. So when Christians and Muslims both worship “the Creator of the universe, the God of Abraham, the One true God”—they are clearly aiming at the same being. That’s the referent. One side may be deeply mistaken about His nature (and I obviously think one side is), but the referent doesn’t change just because someone’s theology is off (even wildly so). So the analogy still holds. Even if the mistakes are essential, it doesn’t follow that they’re worshiping a different God. It just means one side’s got the wrong picture of the same God.
