This is such a weird call to me, Hagel’s body sends Guhle’s stick into Point’s face.
If you’re calling the interference on Hagel, the interference is the reason for the high stick, so how does Montreal end up shorthanded?

The Suzuki line should see a lot of Hagel-Cirelli.

@JFreshHockey A difference with this stat is the lightning have a professional scouting staff that doesnt consist with a bunch of idiots. Drafting the best person available isnt what KD has ever done for the majority of his top picks.

@TBL_Hockey We need Hagel and honestly we need James back soon rather than later. We need a scoring 2nd line to free up Kucherov. And can never have too much speed so that slow ass 4th line of Perry and Paul won't be as exposed and vulnerable.

We’re not playing our style of hockey, letting the opponent still dictate play. You can tell the lines aren’t clicking and we’re one step behind. Teams know how we play and are starting to shut it down, Cooper and company need to figure it out.

@Slash61m @Sabrestalkv2 Bust seems harsh for a kids first real 3 years pro. Most say D men don't even get a grasp on the league until game 200. I honestly think being in the Atlantic really warped people's views on some of the teams. They were 1 point out of the playoffs in 2022-2023

What I don't expect Tampa fans to understand is that this is Buffalo. This is the way we were from 1970-2014. It's only the last ~10 years or so (when Tampa fans started existing) that we haven't had this energy.

We’ve had to deal with it all year. This is a little different because we had to bring three American League guys just to play in this game, and I thought they did great for us. Ultimately though, It’s a 1-1 game in the third and we’ve got a chance to get points out of this game…We’re a playoff team, we’re just not playing like one right now and we only have a couple of games here to figure it out and see where we land.
