IPNTN: Next up, @LucatoLeandro from @HsvpSao raises the conundrum of incidental signal abnormalities in the brain. In demyelinating disease, we are learning that asymptomatic Radiologically Isolated Syndrome (RIS) can now suggest early signs of multiple sclerosis in some cases! In tumefactive lesions of the thalamus and posterior fossa, we even observe that lesion progression on imaging does not always necessitate surgery and may remain stable on further surveillance. #PediNeuroRad #IPNTN
