Still not convinced with the replacement of Santner. We could have explored three different options.
(1) Indian LAO like Kumar Kartikeya, Amit Shukla, Harsh Tyagi, Mayank Mishra, Shams Mulani,etc
(2) OS pacer like Ottneil Baartman, Nqobani Mokoena, Gideon Peters, Tristan Luus, William ORourke, etc.
(3) Indian Leggie like Shubham Rana, Kartik Chadha, Karn Sharma, Aditya Mishra, etc.

These are the XIs I came up with. Probably missed a few names somewhere. The balance of that uncapped XI is a bit iffy, but I think they could still give our champions a run for their money.

At the end of this IPL, there should be an uncapped XI that takes on the T20 WC winning squad in a small 2-3 game T20 series. There is a decent case a lot of these guys could take on any international side in the world; let's put that to the test.

Why would you want to play 5 pace options & only 1 spinner, that too a defensive one. You always need an attacking spinner in the middle that can get you wickets.

@BellaDon_3z I have Jacks in my strongest XII in place of Rutherford. Jacks' bowling gives him an upper hand and his recent form makes it a no brainer to play him. I love Rutherford but right now it makes more sense to play Jacks as it makes our XII more versatile.

Stockpile Indian batters and play 2 overseas demons as your pace attack. This is the way. MI used to pair Bumrah with Malinga AND Boult... and to no ones surprise, thats when they were feared the most.
