@BattlefieldInte BF3 was great for large battles but no game has come close for the intense squad teamwork required in BC2 for me. Still have found memories of totally flattening that snow town map. Utter chaos and destruction.

Miss when games were built to be great not to sell skins.

The conclusions here feel wrong to me. The two lessons I see are:
1. Don't run agents anywhere they might be able to access production environment credentials - it's on you to know which credentials those are
2. Keep tested backups that are independent from your production host

@GergelyOrosz @itisthecase Because its deemed "slow, not being adaptable and people following a outdated mindset". Development procedures and policies exist for a reason and many who just roll with code vs understanding risks, gates ad guardrails, pay the school fees. Development is NOT just code.

Sucks for an AI agent to delete the prod DB - with no way to back it up - and risk the complete rental business.
But the blame sits with the dev who decided to delegate decision making to the AI agent, and then not review actions, just YOLO it.
Time for a blameful postmortem...

@Carrots0606 @twinewss Personally , I break off some wasabi and mix it into the soy sauce. Then sure , I'll tap each end where the rice is exposed to suck up some sauce. Small dabs like that video would work if one is taking a small bite but you would need great stick control and tightly bound sushi.

@kosmikza @Raiden822 I vaguely remember watching a wolverine rip back in 2008/9, it was missing all of its special effects and CGI . Still watched the whole thing .

I really want to see a modern open world game with:
- No flying mounts.
- No fast travel.
- No maps.
It wouldn't work to just delete these things from an existing game. The game has to be designed around it. E.g. you can't have quests that send the user to the other side of the world and back constantly. And you can't have a world where many areas look overly similar.

Yes! Flying mounts ruin games. Ground travel is so much more interesting than air travel. You have to navigate, you sometimes have to face danger. Air just skips everything and you fly in a straight line. When my friends and I were playing Ark I had to make a no-flying-mounts rule because the challenge of navigating the terrain and avoiding tough dinos is a huge part of the game and if you can just fly then you lose all that. I also loved that in the original Ark, the only map you got didn't show your position or direction. You had to navigate by landmarks and memory. Wish more people would make games with expansive worlds with no map and no fast travel. The game has to be designed for it, though -- like quests have to be designed so you aren't constantly going back and forth across the world, and landmarks have to be distinct enough for you to be able to navigate off of them.

Why did they do this when everyone just wanted the Timothy Zahn novels to be episodes VII - IX?
