True story time: Was at Keller Auditorium and the people seated next to me came in and all I saw were skirts as I was looking down at my program. After a while I turned to the person sitting next to me and said, “Have you guys seen this show?” They turned to me and it was two dudes. They stared daggers at me and started whispering to each other. I thought, “Oh shit am I about to get a lesson on assuming gender?” This is Portland after all. They got up and never came back. I’m still not sure if it was something I said or not.
