Not for me. There are two forwards (won’t say who) currently at the club who are better.
Savinho is too 1 v 1 heavy without undemanding yet how to generate serious output.
Of course that can be coached, but then why not coach what you have or buy players closer to that product if you’re going to spend?
If Spurs spend money , it needs to be on genuine top tier players who are already at the level or are extremely close. Savinho may well be very close, but no closer than plenty other footballers out there and certainty no closer than some of what spurs already have on the books

Savinho was and still is a no brainer signing for Spurs. Immediately raises the technical level of the squad, can cover both sides, provides a quality final ball for the LHS, and has shown he can deal with the physical load.

Community notes done more to stick up for us than our actual board btw

#CHETOT – 85’ The referee’s call of no penalty to Tottenham Hotspur was checked and confirmed by VAR – with it deemed that the action from Cucurella had ended before the ball was in play.

@AlasdairGold Kinsky is good enough to be number 1 going forward for a very long time

@ChrisCowlin The issue is yet another poor officiating performance, yet when the involved player calls him out, thats where the problem is? Big picture please

Former referee and PGMOL chief Keith Hackett, talking to the Football Insider, about James Maddison's comments about match officials...
“This post will be reviewed by the FA Disciplinary Department, which will determine if it brings into question the integrity of the referee.
“If they decide that it does, he will be written to and asked for his observations, which then may result in a charge, and if found guilty, may result in a fine or suspension.
“In my opinion, it does question the match official’s integrity, and he should be charged, but watch this space.”

Hey @Grok, completely unrelated to the Hantavirus, what does the word "Hanta" mean in Israeli? Very concise.

“Have some of that bruv, you Scouse xxxx” probably…….😂
Not like you to make sure you were in the picture of someone else’s goal 😅
You now carry on this ritual by hanging around mixed zones bothering star players & asking your lackeys to film it!

When Kinsky made that save yesterday, I cried tears of joy for the first time since Ange’s Europa Triumph.
I was on nephew duties, and he asked me if I am ok.
I told him, “Everything is fine. I have just witnessed the birth of one of the best future goalkeepers in front of my eyes”.
He gave me a hug.

Reasons to be hopeful:
We’ve got Wolves next, then Villa who face us between their UEFA Cup semis. Rest up, lads.
Forest have two more games, including two of the biggest they’ve had in donkeys years, a huge mental and physical toll.
If Leeds beat Chelsea in the FA Cup semi, they’ll have the final the weekend we play them. Rest up, lads.
West Ham and Forest will slip up. West Ham still have Everton, Brentford, Arsenal, Newcastle and Leeds. Forest have Sunderland, Chelsea (between the UEFA semis), Newcastle, Man Utd and Bournemouth. As West Ham showed last night, points will be dropped. I think Forest will get dragged back in.
Players are coming back. Having experience in midfield on Saturday made a big difference.
We’ve been pony, totally shite, literally our worst form in our history, and we’re only 2 points adrift.
The side is finding form and confidence, after so much frustration, that frustration can be powerful.
Roberto De Zerbi is a very good manager. He has got more out of these players in a few weeks than Frank did in months. He’s also got a presence, gravitas, the players are responding.
Positivity goes a long way. De Zerbi said anyone not smiling in training yesterday would get sent home.
Maddison being in the squad, albeit for vibes alone, seems like a very smart move. The squad looked hasn’t looked that together in a very long time.
The home atmosphere suddenly feels special again, it was as loud as I can remember it being on Saturday, 12th man.
It’s fucking on. Believe. And believe in the fucking power of a full stadium or away end fucking believing. We can carry them.
