Driving causes emissions that get into our air that we breathe. We should all try and bike more often in warmer weather. @franklinlorax #apesair

Turning off the water when your not using it can help to conserve energy and it even helps reduce carbon pollution which is a great way to benefit the environment! #apesenergy @franklinlorax

Whenever I am not charging my phone, I make sure to unplug my charger. This helps to save energy and reduce the amount of coal burned for electricity!! #apesenergy @franklinlorax

Books use lots of paper and makes up for a lot of tree logging. Libraries put these books to use so our trees and paper don’t go to waste. #apesland @franklinlorax

Books use a lot of paper which means a lot of logging occurs. Although many trees are cut down for paper, libraries help reduce the amount of papers used due to reusable books. @franklinlorax #apesland

In franklin, we have low-density housing, like single family homes, taking up more land. In city areas, they have high-density housing, like apartments, which take up less land. #apesland @franklinlorax

My dog is an example of a K-strategist. K-strategists produce less offspring and are great at nurturing their young, unlike R-strategists which produce more offspring and provide less care! @franklinlorax #apeseco

This is my dog Tex! Dogs are a great example of k-strategist animals as they produce few offspring and raise them until they mature! #apeseco @franklinlorax

This is my dog Rook, he’s an example of a K-Strategist. He produces a lower number of offspring but he also will nurture and take better care of his offspring up until they grow old like him. #apesecology @franklinlorax

In class we learned about the food chain and how animals can get energy from other animals as food. Just like I get energy through a ham and cheese omelet. #apeseco @franklinlorax

A lot of landfills will burn plastic water bottles to try and save waste but doing this can release pollutants into the air. To reduce the amount of irritants in the air from plastic water bottles, we can use reusable water bottles. #apesintro @franklinlorax
