@levelsio Ah gotcha! I started my first I’m not looking at the code project. Hetzner, Claude running on box. It’s rails so running dev and production on same box, SQLite. Just a fun app for now! Reminds me of my good old sftp PHP lamp days

I wonder how to fix the last part of customer support I still get and can't automate: Customer buys 5,000 credits for $350 Then messages me: "I signed up for $99/mo but it charged me $99 and then $350" Yes because you bought 5,000 credits for $350 % of people either just lie or they have memory loss Then they chargeback and I can't win ever anyway I could make some thing to add a refund if your credits aren't used yet though that might solve it? Annoying!!!!!

@levelsio What does ok push do? You run Claude on the box, so just wondering. Do you push to git for back up? Or push from dev env to prod env on same box? Or something else?

OMG… Claude Code please sort your command allow list approach. Constantly running into problems with EOF and now got add won’t work because my file paths have square brackets in (next)! So annoying.

I’ve never been much of a short video consumer… I usually run 2-3 work streams in parallel, sometimes 5. But that bandwidth hurts my human brain. Sometimes that means I’m left idling while Claude Code does its thing. I now watch shorts.

Cloud region selection used to be a latency decision. After Iranian drones hit three AWS data centres, it is a geopolitical one too.

I found my tech vocation in childhood, started coding at 13, commercialising at 15, shifted to manager mode around 26, and got back to coding at 32. Luckily my additiction to my hobby and work meant even though my day job didnt go near production, my coding in spare time never stopped. And I’ve never been so excited and passionate as I am in this new era.

May you find your sacred vocation. I found mine at 16, followed it til I turned 34, lost it as I went into manager mode, and rediscovered it 45 days ago And not in a subtle form. In a powerful end stage Pokémon sort of way. What a time to be alive

I don’t think I really like to code I think I was put on this earth to do it
Toch Style@Tochstyle

@garrytan lol i guess some people really like to code, i tried it and i don't find it as addictive to use cursor i mean it's probably a better skill to want to do it

5/ Cloud infrastructure has always had a physical footprint. What changed is that someone has now demonstrated they are willing to hit it.

4/ Multi-region deployment is expensive. For years, the probability of a physical attack on a cloud region was effectively zero, which made single-region a rational bet. That probability has changed. The budget conversation needs to change with it.

1/ On March 1st, Iranian drone strikes hit two AWS data centres in the UAE and damaged a third in Bahrain. 109+ services went offline. Here is what that means for how we think about infrastructure risk.

Iranian drone strikes hit three AWS data centres on March 1st. 109+ services went down. Banking, payments, ride-hailing — all offline across the region. We've gone from cyber to physical warfare being on the risk register.

@LukeMorton yep. half of every agent-browser pipeline is just handling consent modals and cookie popups before the actual task even starts
