Hi Luke, there haven’t been three trains an hour since the timetable change in May 2018, so almost 8 years ago. At that point, our fast service between Liverpool and Manchester Airport was replaced on this route by an enhanced TPE service, but they call at Lea Green rather than St Helens Junction.
We did continue to run a half hourly stopping service until Covid hit, but Rail North Partnership no longer specify us to operate the previous Liverpool – Warrington Bank Quay service, so the route is served by an hourly Liverpool – Manchester Airport stopping service, plus some additional services at peak times. We have provided additional capacity on the Liverpool – Manchester Airport services, so these are now planned to be formed of 4 or 6 carriages.

I haven’t had to use my card as well as the 8 digit reference number in nearly a year now to collect tickets

The amount of tickets i have brought from you on your app or website and i have not had to use my physical card or contactless to collect those tickets is a lot

@Stevenorient Thank you, if you bought your tickets from us you will need the card to collect your tickets; if you paid via PayPal or Apple pay you can use contactless; I understand that other retailers may have different rules in place, sorry ^MC
