Don’t understand how play can carry on until 7.30pm when there has been rain delays, but when <90 overs are bowled on a sunny day, there’s a hard stop at 6.30pm. 🤷🏼‍♂️ #EngvInd

@bbctms India well within their rights to bat until all overs had been bowled. England also within their rights to bowl some part-time pies. It’s first class cricket and it was ever thus. Complete non-issue and not sure why England were carrying on like they were. #EngvInd

@Bucko77gc Absolutely. And I don’t buy the ‘people had a good time so it doesn’t matter’ argument. I heard so many spectators grumbling about it today.

@Luke_D_S_Smith Unbelievable the amount of stoppages they get away with! Then you watch a blast game where they manage to bowl 40 overs in 2 and a half hours with ball going everywhere!

75 overs bowled today at Lord’s. That’s over 16% of the scheduled play lost. On a perfect day. How is that acceptable? Umpires very culpable for allowing all the stoppages, of which there are so many it’s become tedious. #bbccricket #ENGvsIND

@AvantiWestCoast Okay, thanks. Please take on board the feedback about open tickets though. Overcrowding happens every Christmas and passengers have extra luggage. You should only allow people on the train who have booked that specific time. So much disruption otherwise.

@Luke_D_S_Smith Hi Luke. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, this is not calling at Macclesfield due to the service already being full. Your ticket will be valid on the next service. If you no longer wish to travel then you can claim a full refund from your point of purchase.- Lucy

@AvantiWestCoast I booked 2 x tickets and seat reservations on today’s 10.37 from Macclesfield to London Euston back in November, only to find the train is cancelled due to overcrowding. Why do you let everyone on with open tickets and how do I get a full refund please?

@cricketjim1 I think Smith at 6 as keeper and Buttler at 5. Definitely want to see Root back in, but would like Stokes to focus on Test cricket, given his injury record, captaincy and all-rounder status. Wouldn’t be surprised if Buttler decided he wanted to open.

We were told tickets on sale at 9am at @TicketmasterUK. But if there is a queue just to access the site, it was clearly beneficial to log on earlier. In which case, why set a timeline at all? #Oasis

Surely there is a better way to get concert tickets in 2024 than everybody visiting a single website and it inevitably crashing. Why can't it be a ballot like the London Marathon? #Oasis

On This Day in 1975 @DerbyshireCCC v @lancscricket was affected by snow at Buxton...the previous two days at the ground had been pleasantly warm and this was quite unexpected...

Moved into a new build flat over 2 years ago. @HalifaxBank are not able to sell me home insurance because my address hasn't been updated on their 3rd party system. I complained and got a response today, saying "I'm sorry we can't overrride the system to input an address".

@bbctms @BBCSport A reflection of how strange a series it’s been that this composite XI contains 8 players from the team that is 2-1 down (who may yet lose 3-1). Other than Starc for Woakes/Wood, it’s hard not to argue with this on a head to head basis.
