You do not need meta picks for casual content
You may have more difficulty pugging, but you can always make your own groups or play with friends

@ScurryinScourge @_toxicblonde If you’re pushing for title you should have a dps who can decurse if your healer cannot, that’s why certain dps classes have these abilities too.

@Luminoura_ @_toxicblonde It is VERY unlikely you were pushing for title without a single decurse season 1 of TWW. SV and GB were awful without it.
There may be ONE team that pushed and made it, but honestly doubtful.

@notmyrealhouse @_toxicblonde I’ve played different healers in tiers where a decurse was crucial, I just made sure I had a druid/mage/shaman in the group if I didn’t have one.
I think if you’re too lazy to decurse to help a healer, who doesn’t have it when it’s needed, you shouldn’t be doing group content.

@Luminoura_ @_toxicblonde a decurse or equivalent isn’t impactful to class ID. healers heal. I think my healers should heal me, dispel me, that’s a good aesthetic. I play Druid. I take decurse, but it feels bad for other healers being suboptimal for certain dungeons/things.

@bleatdeer @_toxicblonde Helping with decurses is a dps job when the healer does not possess a decurse. It’s even a dps job when the healer DOES have a decurse because it’ll help save them a global during heavy aoe damage they need to heal through.

@Luminoura_ @_toxicblonde Yes but if you're pugging people will decline you even if your rating is for higher keys. Decurses should just be open to all healers so there isn't bullshit pug stuff going on.

@lostcarcosa0 @_toxicblonde Competitive vs casual mindset. Much different skill levels and requirements. Every class and spec can get keystone hero easily regardless of their kit.
If you’re competing, you play the best. You don’t cripple yourself playing without the you know you need.

@_toxicblonde That’s cool, I think you’re over exaggerating how difficult it is to deal with these debuffs though. In Grim Batol I’d specify I needed a mage/druid to decurse, because it was increasingly hard to heal off at higher key levels. Most DPS pushing keys had no issue doing this.

Priests have PI, druids have a group buff, hpallys have a Brez, etc etc… and I am not arguing for healers to have it all. I just want all healers to be able to deal with one debuff that has notoriously killed players and players blame the healer for constantly. You can still have teamwork in dungeons for other things.
You can have your opinion I just disagree with it.

@_toxicblonde Because dungeons are 5 man content that require teamwork, not 5 individuals performing entirely separate in the same space.

@Luminoura_ Because a healers job is to heal the party, and help dos when they are able. Why is there a curse that can insta kill the party or cause healing reduction that as a healer I cannot mitigate. That’s why it’s frustrating.
