@ABUJAPLUG If she is the one with the opportunity, will she consider you? She is another man's child ? not your responsibility. Don't give up your dreams because she won't give up hers. Make your own parents proud & go explore the world. Don't be tied down to a charity case...

@Ian_San254 At least you know who your enemies are!! Sell the house without their knowledge and go build another one for yourself and make it known that they are not welcome. If household enemies don't catch you, the ones outside are powerless.

I got suspended from work because of some fraud issue that happened. I decided to go home to be with my family during that time. I jokingly lied to my mother and siblings that I got fired. The treatment towards me changed immediately; they started disrespecting me.My mother even told me that she couldn't take care of an adult male and that I should go hustle. My sisters treated me like I was their junior, and I am the firstborn. My suspension took three months. In the end, I was cleared, and I am back at work.I told my family I was returning to Nairobi to stay with a friend.... These are the people that I've been taking care of since I started working at the age of 21. They sleep in a house I built. My other sister has a diploma I paid for...it took my suspension to finally see that they only want me when I provide something.

@GenASamad @AfricanHub_ She is his enemy for life. How does one define forgive and forget after that stunt she pulled? That is why women are said to be loyal only to their feelings and not your sacrifice. As a man, let your sacrifice be about you and within your control always.

A family of five who sold all their belongings and borrowed ₦20 million to relocate to the UK have reportedly been deported. The family included a husband, wife, two children, and the wife’s late sister’s daughter. After spending about two years in the UK, the wife allegedly decided to act on past grievances against her husband. Since she was the main visa holder with a work permit and the rest were dependents, she reported to authorities that she wanted to remove her husband from her visa, effectively ending their marriage. The husband was then notified to leave the country within a short period. Faced with debt and uncertainty, he sought legal help and revealed that one of the children was not biologically theirs and had not been legally adopted or declared during their relocation process. Authorities followed up, and DNA tests confirmed the child was not related to either of them. This violation led to legal consequences, and despite attempts to reverse the situation, the case had already escalated. In the end, the entire family was deported back to Nigeria.

@luxemiaa And you think you are making sense right now? The basic rule of the thumb is NEVER ORDER BEYOND WHAT YOU CAN PERSON AFFORD. Always wait for the person who took you out to lead the way so you don't misstep. And no matter what, if you cannot afford it, don't order it.

I went out with this guy who asked me to get drinks, and I told him upfront I don’t drink but I’d still meet him at the restaurant. He said that was fine, so I showed up thinking it would just be a chill vibe. I ordered a mocktail and some guacamole, nothing crazy, just something small to snack on while we talked. He looked at the order and immediately said, “I didn’t mean apps too. I just meant drinks.” I just sat there for a second, processing what he actually said to me. It wasn’t even about the food. It was the way he said it, like I had overstepped or done something wrong by ordering something basic. I didn’t argue or try to explain myself. I just called the server back, canceled my order, grabbed my bag, and left. I’m not about to sit across from someone who’s already counting what I can and can’t have like that. The whole thing lasted maybe ten minutes.

@Utdbeni During Amorim era, the players were bad losing games. Now Carrick, the coach is not good enough but winning games. Did you buy a new set of players for Carrick or same player from Amorim? You need to decamp to support Coventry because you will cry as we celebrate more wins..

Let be clear with you, when Manchester United wins it has nothing to do with Carrick being a good manager, it’s down to individual brilliance. I will not back him or fake any love towards him being the manager, he’s a glazer puppet and he will fail long term. I know I will get hate for this but that’s it. I will back Manchester United but not a manager who plays like he’s playing prime Barca every match day.

This is beyond wickedness, it’s pure emotional cruelty. A woman loses her child and instead of support, she’s blamed, abandoned, and discarded like nothing, then he moves on like it’s a change of clothes. That’s not a husband, that’s someone who was never ready for marriage in the first place. Truth is, painful as it is, she didn’t lose a marriage, she escaped a lifetime of suffering. Right now it hurts, but in the long run, that kind of man would have done worse.

My colleague lost her baby and received divorce papers in the same week. She got married last year. Didn't date him long. Anytime they had issues her parents would tell her to come home. She's loved there. The husband would go there with his family. They would settle it. She'd go back. Then she got pregnant. They had issues again. She went to her parents as usual. Gave birth there. Lost the baby few days later. Her husband said her village people killed his child. While she was still mourning he sent divorce papers to her father's house. Waybilled every one of her belongings except the things he bought her. His family supported him completely. Marriage was not more than two years old. They begged, but he didn't listen. We later heard he has remarried. Meanwhile, the wife is still in her father's house. Still mourning.💔

@IyelolaIge There is no issue here. She did a trip she surely was not equipped for and now she is safely back home. To God be the praise. Her parents should be happy to have her back. And to the guy, brave guy. Took a leap, landed badly. Dusted himself up and made adjustments to go again

An Arsenal fan called into my show on Nigeria Info yesterday to banter Manchester United as they qualify for the Champions League. He said the red devils need to go back and study to know that there’s no longer Group Stage in the competition but now a League Phase, and the away goal rule has been scrapped. Apparently, his point was that they’ve been out of Europe’s Premier Club competition for so long that things may feel strange to them as they return.

@Leumaswazhere2 Amorim should actually be on trail for the mental anguish he subjected us to. With Amorim, we would be competing with Spurs and West Ham who to relegate. Lets see which team will be willing to employ him and how long it will take to employ him and how long he will last there.

"Man Utd were on course to finishing top 4 under Amorim" This was our last 10 games before Amorim was sacked, does this look like a team on course to getting top 4? We were 6th while being 4 points away from 12th with Man City and Arsenal to face back to back Bunch of lying clowns

🚨JUST IN! There is a possibility that Manchester United ends up in Pot 2 or 3 during the UEFA Champions League draw. This guarantees Manchester United will have at least two games against the biggest non-English clubs such as Bayern, PSG, Real Madrid, Barça, Inter. [@sistoney67]

@UTDKara You are on your own with this. Who is a world class coach? Is anyone born with that name? 1. Don't bother about Luis Enrique. He won't leave PSG. 2. Give Carrick and his team 3yrs contract. 3. Sign smart & sensible players who will die for the badge. 4. Support Carrick...

@Prince_dc21_ You don't belong in that family. That bond you taught you destroyed was built and protected beyond you. Your husband played along to save his own son while you destroyed yours. You think you are wise..? As a single mother, you are above your level and will soon return there.

"I have a heavy issue with my stepson. I got married to his father after his mother passed away; he was only 12 years old at the time. His father married me, a single mom, and luckily, he accepted & loved my two sons very much, just like his own. However, I regretfully failed to treat his child right. The jealousy in me was too strong – something I sincerely regret. I never allowed the little boy to attend school. Like every protective stepmom who loves her kids, I wanted my sons to be ahead of him. I was trying to protect my kids because I knew he was intelligent. I did many terrible things that I'm even ashamed to include in this writing. It got to a point where his maternal aunt, who had just gotten married to a man abroad, took him away. This was after I created false stories about him to his father, so he would hate him too – and he did, because he listened to everything I told him to do. I controlled him since I discovered he loved me very much. After that, we didn't hear about the boy again. I wasn't bothered because I didn't care if he was still alive, as long as my security and peace of mind were intact, knowing my kids were protected and not in competition with him. For close to 14 years, I thought his father didn’t care either because we never discussed his son or aunt since they left. Only recently did I shockingly discover that my husband had been secretly communicating with his son without my knowledge or leaving me any clue. All these years, they were keeping in touch. Now, the boy has grown into a handsome, successful young man working as a medical doctor abroad. Sadly, none of my children managed to finish high school despite all I did to make them pursue their studies. Instead, they all dropped out. Even the businesses they're into barely work out for them, and they constantly bother my husband & me for more money. Whenever my stepson returns to the country, he visits us & brings many nice things. Recently, he bought me an expensive phone & cloths. This isn't the problem. My problem is that I feel guilty whenever he comes. I sometimes hide, not cuz I still hate him, but bcuz I feel guilty & ashamed. This has been troubling me so much that I feel like I should apologize to him and tell him not to buy me things because I couldn’t handle the shame. My behavior was too cruel. And i wish to also discuss with him to help my children but i just don't know how, since i brk the bond between them & taught my kids to hate him. We're all guilty but I'm guilty the most & i can't handle the shame People, please don’t judge me. Rather, advise me on how to handle this situation."

@Cheriemike2 How does this concern you if your mom is happy doing what she is doing? Dont get in between them. You have seen nothing. Return his phone. Your mom is not perfect but if both are happy doing what they are doing and living their lives, don't mess it up and your mum will suffer it

My dad was the 'perfect husband' for 25 years until I accidentally used his old phone to hotspot my laptop last night. I wasn't looking for anything, just wanted to do my remote work. However, the phone didn't have a password, and a notification appeared from a contact saved simply as 'Meeting Chairman.' The message read: 'Happy birthday to the man who makes me feel alive. I can't wait for our weekend away while she thinks you are at the village meeting.' I froze, my hands were shaking. I scrolled up. This 'Meeting Chairman' has been in my dad's life for 7 years. I looked at the kitchen where my mom was happily frying plantain and singing worship songs, waiting for him to come back from work. She has endured hard times with this man. She gave up her own career to raise us so he could succeed. And he is out there calling another woman his peace. I am currently sitting in the parlor looking at the door. He will be home in 10 minutes. Do I keep this secret to protect my mother's heart(She is a Queen), or do I burn this house down with the truth? Because the man I respected as my hero just became a stranger in my eyes.💔

Putting out what you have acquired materially is not a good approach to searching for a wife. The house and cars were not necessary. Also, always state your genotype, state, and other preferences. Lastly, if you are looking for a partner, come out and say it not through anonymity. HeartMattaz

What a wise man 😃 A retired civil servant in Abuja has reportedly sold his family house without informing his wife or children. Months before anyone suspected anything, the original house documents had already been quietly moved out for safekeeping. So when strangers eventually showed up for inspection, it was already too late to reverse the process. This wasn’t an inherited property. It was built from years of sacrifice salary deductions, disciplined living, and time spent in government quarters that were later sold to occupants. But after retirement, things changed. The balance of power in the home shifted. His wife began to control most decisions, and gradually, the children adopted her tone. The man who once provided everything became almost invisible in his own house. At some point, he fell seriously ill. According to him, no one checked on him not even to ask if he had eaten before leaving the house each morning. Around that same period, his entire gratuity was used to fund a family business. It was meant to benefit everyone. It collapsed within a year. That was when the quiet plan began. Not out of anger. Not out of emotion. But in silence. He decided he would rather start life again alone than remain in a home where he felt unwanted. Months later, the house was sold privately for ₦90 million. He bought a smaller house in a quiet suburb for ₦18 million and secured the remaining balance discreetly. Back at home, nothing seemed unusual. No arguments. No tension. Weeks before leaving, he gradually packed his belongings under the pretense of sending clothes to the dry cleaner. Then one day, he left for what he described as a consultancy job. He never returned. The truth only surfaced when the new owner sent people to inspect the property. Panic followed. The same children who hadn’t checked on him while he was away suddenly began calling non-stop, demanding answers. That was when he confirmed it: Yes the house had been sold. By then, nothing could be undone. Attempts were made to trace his new location, but he had already moved carefully… and completely.

I can never understand some people and money This my uncle, now late… lived in a rented 3-bedroom apartment like an average man. He sold generators in Kano, doing okay for himself and his family. Anytime he visited us, na complaints: "Nigeria hard… money no dey…" Before leaving, he’ll drop ₦5k for my mum and ₦2k each for me and my siblings Sometimes his wife would even call my dad, complaining he hadn’t paid school fees. Long story short… He was travelling to Ibadan in a commercial bus… Had an accident… and died One month later, his wife went to the bank hoping to see something small for the kids… Omo… she saw the balance and fainted Over ₦5 billion sitting in his account. Plus two estates in Lagos But this man used no personal car… Lived in rented apartment till death… Omo... Still confused why he lived such a life?
