Such a good take, this look is stiff, restrictive not at all befitting of Namor’s nature at all… he’s stripped of his jade and pearls, his suit lacks it proper sea accents… it’s off, just a lack of care they put into his presentation and overall his character 🙃

The Greeks were closer to Africans than they were to Saxons btw. For the longest time, white people wouldn’t consider Greeks and Romans white because of their darker, Mediterranean skin color

Imagine if a white actor decided to play Michael Jackson, Barack Obama, or T'Challa. They're saying The Odyssey is fiction. So, Black Panther is a comic book. Can a white person play Black Panther? Helen is one of the most important characters in The Odyssey. Her beauty plays a huge role in the story. She was Greek. Casting a Black actress ruins everything. She's a good actress, and people may find her beautiful. But that's not what Helen of Troy was like. Woke Hollywood is destroying thousand-year-old history.

@kevinharmon1984 @LaGrecca333 Basically my ideal casting wouldve kept everything the same (Lupita Ngoyo, Elliot Page etc) but added idk Tasos Nousias as Odysseus and Maria Nafpliotou as Penelope. That wouldve made a huge difference basically :/

FWIW this isn’t about black characters in the movie. That’s cool, really. It’s about Western whitewashing of our heritage in favour of their own Nordic view of history.
