Hello my dear game developers. Do you make glass that will blur what's behind it? If you work with Unreal Engine, there is a node SpiralBlur-SceneTexture. Do you use it? I tried and now I think I need to make some of the windows like this #gamedev #UnrealEngine #UE5 #tips

Out of all the things I would not have expected the countup on the XP screen to be the hardest thing to implement... Only having to handle up to 1 level up is fine, but the possibility of gaining multiple levels at once makes it very complicated.

thanks but no need... I came up with the plot and environment, I already have these topics worked out, I have a unique plot and a lot of mechanics in paper, so I just do it... + I also have a person on my team who details the plot and a 3D modeler who comes up with cool stuff, I do everything else

Now the game will have beautiful buttons on the floor and a different design of cables. Some puzzles will be partially implemented with these objects. Even throwing an object at a button from a distance is fun

@Lusiogenic yes, it happens... I'm planning to prepare content for the steam page next week, so I wanted to create a few new small locations to take screenshots of a different design and record videos. So in about 7 days I created 7 new mini locations

Yes, I used it and STILL use it today! I find classic winamp is still the fastest to open audio player. Great for sorting through sfx during game dev. Or maybe I'm just being wacky? Tell me I'm not alone here 😅

Every small change improves gameplay. Today I expanded the hologram and the parts of the device that are related to it. Now the hologram can have some states and react to messages from other objects. This room looks great, doesn't it? #ScreenshotSaturday #scifi #indiegames
