@i2cjak As a software engineer, I propose you to just find a battery with <100 uOhm internal resistance.

xQc says he would suck it for $100M 😳 "I'd do it for way less, are you kidding me? You could buy a lifetime of experiences, for just sucking a ****? That's also an experience. It's a bonus! It's a no lose situation."

@CandyClaws2 @Comrade_Dolphin Sure, to get a degree you can make do without half your brain basically. Especially considering that you don't have to get a perfect score But that's about the furthest you can go without critical thinking in STEM. That's kinda why PhDs are valued – they can apply their shit

@Lust4Eternity @Comrade_Dolphin Yea I agree that engineering in practice requires no shortage of critical thinking, I just meant the coursework + the math specifically.

@CandyClaws2 @Comrade_Dolphin It's not knowing about how to solve a wave equation analytically (gay and retarded, btw). It's about WHEN to make one and WHAT it should look like That's the tough shit, but it's very satisfying when you can define your constraints right and calculate exactly the right model

@CandyClaws2 @Comrade_Dolphin It still does, you need to choose the tool you should apply in a given situation. Mathematical modeling is also an example of critical thinking. But they generally don't prove their theorems, so in a way, they're using the results of someone else's critical thinking

@Comrade_Dolphin To be fair, the type of math engineers do basically does not require critical thinking

@AshleySton93480 @TheOmniLiberal I don't think they treat it as a joke, they treat it as a sport (the entertainment side of sport). Basically like football fans, cheering for their team because it's cooler, prioritizing show instead of results, arguing is pointless. They're actually behaving like football fans

@bishara It'll need to be regulated properly though. However, people will say that pre-built home is communism, especially the people who earn a lot of money on housing prices. Zoning needs to be changed too But I really doubt it'll stick in the US, too much money is involved against it

@bishara I think the soviets came up with a decent idea of building blocks for housing. If it's made in a proper way (not soviet), then it may decrease the price on housing because major modules will be pre-built in a factory. Saving on engineering and ensuring quality

@AndrewPerpetua It's actually kinda funny how the US military is extremely strong, but it's never enough because their politicians never have a proper plan on what they're doing. This demonstrates that even with the most advanced weaponry, nothing beats the retardation of its leader

One can look at a map and see that there are tons of squiggly little lines all over the place where different countries exist and easily conclude that having a stronger military is not enough to conquer a country. You don't even need to read books or anything.

@Romulisnt @MckeeganDave Yeah, used to stack multiple X-ray sheets on top of each other and attach them to the input lens of a cheap-ish telescope. It looked surprisingly good, I even saw a black spot on the disk (not sure what it was tho). The texture was also very visible

@MckeeganDave It's funny because even with his discount telescope and filter, you can still make out sunspots and see the grain of filaments and he even acknowledges seeing 'a texture' and then just fucking ignores all of it.
