Your confidence is misplaced. I wrote it, and asked Copilot to do a final fix on spelling and grammar, which was minimal, given that I had gone over it several times over the course of a day. Believe it or not, there are people out here who can write well, who know things, and who can communicate effectively. In the writings I produce, the framing, the facts and concepts, almost all of the word choices and structure, are invariably my own. I do depend on both @grok, and Copilot, as the most awesome spelling, concept, grammar checkers ever conceived. That is why, you will also find posts where I clearly credit AIs for their work, where I am less confident in my concepts, and more typically, seeking the addition of examples that I am aware of, but nowhere near familiar enough to name or define. @Grok I am more interested in the concept here, the aspect of human nature that leads people to doubt the competence in others. I know that there can be many causes, from jealousy to outright denial of the concepts on offer. Could you please explain to us why people go for this type of Argumentum ad competentia carens denial?
