These layoffs makes no sense

A 13yrs old girl born and brought in the northern part of kaduna came to Lagos a virgin , a 46yrs old pedophile saw the innocent girl and started grooming her and seeing she had no parental guidance, not only R A P E her but also aborted for the girl in the space of two years. All was broke loose when during the 3rd pregnancy he bought a pill for her to take and after taking it the now 15yrs old girl was bleeding for days and sensing her life was in danger she went to the general hospital and it was there she revealed what the pedophile has been doing to her for years and I was called in, this man groomed her in so many ways unimaginable,he was arrested and charged to court and later sent to prison pending when the final verdict is due. Funniest thing is that the people living in the building who claims to be educated and well traveled are begging me to forgive this pedophile, not wanting him to do full jail time for his evil, this people are not even concerned about what he has done to the poor girl and how to rehabilitate her. Some of this residents of the building tried to victim blame the girl but I stood by her and called it off, I will be going for the 3rd appearance of the pedophile next month and would be there to see him get his full sentencing. I just got laid off from Meta. Obviously it sucks to lose the income. But between the never-ending layoffs, stack ranking, etc., I'm good. Pretty convinced that when I look back at this moment a few years into the future, I'll be grateful it happened. There's a lot I want to say here, but I'll save that for another day. Either way it's been a privilege to have been a part of the ride. On to the next adventure.

I'm not gonna lie, the @Meta layoffs are some of the most dystopian I've ever seen. They got told to work from home, they were sent the emails at 4AM in the morning. Those who weren't impacted have software on their computer that tracks their every move, preparing AI to take their job as well. They're literally training the AI that will eliminate their position as well. Meanwhile, Meta is raking in RECORD PROFITS. I am a massive, unapologetic AI enthusiast. Yet, this is NOT the future I had in mind. I wish for Meta to crash and burn. This is not the way. Literally nobody benefits from this.
