I have never heard@kizzabesigye1 insult or “mistreat” the President Museveni and his family but he has been in prison for almost two years. Even some of us who have never insulted them are being hounded so no, the problem isn’t that they are uncivil and have insulted the president and his family, the problem is that they hold divergent views or aspire to participate in leading our country too.

History of Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi 1. 1973 – Born on 19 October in Butambala District, Uganda. 2. 1986 – Completed Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) at Gombe Primary School. 3. 1990 – Obtained the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) from Kibuli Secondary School. 4. 1993 – Obtained the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) from Kibuli Secondary School. 5. 1998 – Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Makerere University. 6. 2003 – Earned an Associate Degree in Democracy and Development from Uganda Martyrs University. 7. 2004 – Obtained a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Uganda Management Institute (UMI). 8. 1990s – Began political activism, advocating for democracy, constitutionalism, and good governance. 9. 2000s – Active member of the Democratic Party (DP). 10. 2011 – Successfully became Member of Parliament for Butambala County after a court process arising from the parliamentary election. 11. 2021 – Re-elected as Member of Parliament for Butambala County under the National Unity Platform (NUP). 12. 2021–2025 – Served as Chairperson of the Buganda Parliamentary Caucus and Chairperson of Parliament's Public Accounts Committee (Central Government). 13. January 2025 – Appointed Deputy President for the Buganda Region of the National Unity Platform (NUP). 14. January 2026 – Arrested and charged over alleged election-related violence following the general elections; he denied the allegations, and the case remains before the courts. 15. With the way she was speaking a few months back, it's crazy to see Mariam Wangadya being pushed to the point of resignation. We must all work for the rule of law, otherwise everyone will be forced to learn the hard way. No one can be safe in a sinking ship.

My brother @MuwangaMKivumbi . While you were away in Kitalya Prison for 5 months, a new order was proclaimed in Uganda. Criticising members of Museveni family means you don't like the country and it is therefore a criminal offence. Muzungu colonial law was replaced with traditional/mob justice. In the new order even when you are intercepted by police, it first hands you over to the military to undergo Bachwezi prison initiation ceremony in the basment. Power to arrest is no longer with Police. Rules in the new order are being issued right and left. Judges first consult Mzee before delivering rulings and judgements. I am also in a neighbouring country trying to learn them. I will through our lawyer Medard Sseggona send you a list of what I have recorded so far.
