I had a fruitful virtual meeting this afternoon with the Board of the Global South Fellowship of Anglicans (GSFA), where I serve as Treasurer. This role is a unique experience, as I am more accustomed to counting those who have accepted Christ than balancing books of accounts.

Let’s heed the call by His Grace ⁦@Archbp_COU⁩ and join the Prayer Convention slated for November 20th - 23rd, 2024 at Namugongo Martyrs Shrine Anglican Site. I believe that God is going to do something in this country that will send prophets of doom into hiding.

Today, I officially opened a two-day retreat for @ChurchofUganda_ retired Bishops and their spouses and widows of Bishops at @LwezaC. This retreat was organized for our seniors in ministry to reconnect, fellowship, seek their advice and guidance, and to support each other. 1/5..

Many have retired and been far apart from one another. We believe it's a very good opportunity to meet again and make important reflections. This retreat is also an opportunity for us to account to them because they handed over leadership of @ChurchofUganda_ to us. 2/5..

They need to be updated on where the Church stands, such as the completion of the Church House debt, which many of them laid foundation for, the development of the Uganda Martyrs Anglican Site in Namugongo, Family TV, our stand against homosexuality, among other issues. 3/5..

When I visited all retired Bishops and widows of Bishops of @ChurchofUganda_ in their homes within two weeks during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was glad to know that they are concerned about the governance of the Church and are always keeping it in their prayers. 4/5..

In this retreat, we have lined up a number of speakers on health, spirituality, and responsible living in retirement. We understand they have a lot of issues and we are ready to listen, share and find meaningful and lasting solutions. 5/5.

I really love the Buganda Culture! Marriage is not just a contract between two people. It is a covenant between families and communities. So today in the small hours of the night before dawn my family went to bring my wife home. What an elaborate culture of intricate rituals!

They seem to recruit bad drivers. The don't respect other road users. @MoWT_Uganda Please help out. @DMavine

I had to stop & give #Atls to these casualities this evening ffg a road traffic accident involving a truck & global bus along Ishaka-Mbra road. I thank @tausicoaches1 that stopped & assisted me with a few supplies in their first aid kit. We surely need Paramedics along highways.
