The government has approved @Starlink to operate in Uganda, a move that could see internet prices drop. It will also make it easier to access connectivity in hard-to-reach areas. This is a bad night for Airtel, MTN, Simba, and other internet service providers. @elonmusk

Whole premise of a phone safe from hackers is defeated by a phone companies customer support. For example bought #lycamobile plan (with cash for extra safety). Couldn't call a country included in plan. To fix they demanded private details including belonging to the OTHER person

I regret switching to @lycamobile My eSIM activated successfully but I never got signal/service. Support made me do account setup, SIM swap attempts, multiple tickets, and repeated 24-48 hour waits with no fix.

.@LycamobileUK is a DISGRACE! My phone was stolen, and I’ve been trying to get a ‘Proof of Usage’ for my insurance for over a week. Despite sending my Passport & ID multiple times, they keep "losing" them. This is a deliberate obstruction of an insurance claim! 😡 #Lycamobile
