@POTUS REPORT CARD AFTER YEAR ONE

I’m posting this because I kept feeling like much of what we were told BY PRESIDENT TRUMP would be accomplished in this administration -has made little headway.
Rather than rely on feelings or partisan talking points, I wanted to step back and verify that impression with facts — category by category.
After doing that, the overall conclusion is hard to avoid: after a year, much of what has been done is not lasting.
We are left with what feels like a Cinderella government — when the clock strikes midnight, policies revert, agencies remain unchanged, and the underlying power structures stay intact.
What we the people wanted was not just better rhetoric or temporary wins, but to take back our government — to be represented by those we elect, not by entrenched interests and lobbyists. We wanted waste, corruption, and abuse of power addressed; agencies brought back within constitutional limits; and transparency restored where it has been absent for years.
Part of why the phrase “drain the swamp” resonated so deeply is that many Americans understand — even if it’s rarely discussed openly — that power in Washington is not exercised only through votes or laws. Intelligence services, both foreign and domestic, have historically used blackmail, kompromat, and so-called “honey traps” as tools of influence. These methods are not limited to politicians, but extend to captains of industry, media executives, financiers, and cultural gatekeepers.
The Epstein case did not emerge in isolation. It exposed how compromising situations can be created, documented, and leveraged to control people in positions of power. When that happens, elected officials answer upward — to pressure networks — instead of downward to the people. If those systems remain intact, elections may change faces, but they do not change who actually holds power.
That context matters, because this review is not about personalities or loyalty. It’s about outcomes — what was made permanent, what reverted, and what never materialized at all. With that in mind, here’s how the promises and priorities actually played out, starting with the weakest areas and moving toward the strongest.
