@jonfavs It's the book that just dropped yesterday in the UK and US. Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York. There is a mention in there that Melanie slept with Epstein before she met Donald and more about Melania. Written by Andrew Lownie, UK's acclaimed historian.

Well, they asked for her, and they got her. And @HillaryClinton isn't holding back! Her opening statement is quite a throw down to an Oversight Committee that grudgingly engaged the Epstein issue under prolonged fire from his victims but continues to tip toe around troubling issues for fear of offending the @POTUS.

@tcm The more I watch it, the more I can spot what's missing. For instance, I think there was a lot more of Siobhan MacKenna that was filmed and cut. Also, Lara's mother. Julie Christie's hair is too "done."

@tcm GOOD NEWS is a charming film. Comden and Green used to jokingly say the great films were BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN, BIRTH OF A NATION and GOOD NEWS (it was their first).

@tcm It was really interesting to hear Jamie Lee Curtis and David O. Russell talk about important and meaningful matters. The Swimmer is a great art film. The cast is incredible, including Joan Rivers and an uncredited Marian Seldes.

@tcm Psycho and Touch of Evil (both black and white) with Janet Leigh came before The Manchurian Candidate and I think they show her off more than the latter film. I haven't seen the latter in a long time and must look again, painful though it may be.

@tcm In the movie The Band Wagon Lotte Stein plays the chambermaid. She has a larger role in Sirk's All I Desire. Robert Gist who plays the stage manager became Joan Crawford's favorite dye-rek-tore (she said on the David Frost show).

@tcm Douglas Carter Beane has already reimagined The Band Wagon for the stage. It didn't play NYC. In the intro/outro there was no mention of Nanette Fabray, Comden/Green, James Mitchell.
