@abscratchion What if, and hear me out now, Caine was so worried he'd go crazy and abstract that he put a "temporary modifier" on him to keep him calm. He seemed fine when Ragatha arrived, but Caine might have upped the dosage once more people arrived to keep him from remembering. No need now

I think its pretty heavily implied that kingers memory issues were caused by isolation and memory repression but im more wondering if he is getting better? The end credits dont include the bucket so either he still has dementia or his memories are less scattered
