@WilliamShatner You just need an M3P to set you back in your seat Captain.

@congressdj I don’t but I have access if you want to meet up and try to hail one I’m down.
English

@elonmusk I think he wanted me to call you but I don’t have your phone number.

This evening I was driving my oldest son home in the Model 3 Performance from swim practice. He’s 6. He said “Dad, why don’t you just call the people you bought this car from and tell them to turn off the blue blinking screen and the noise. The car doesn’t need you it can do it itself.” He’s smarter than most. 😂 $TSLA

@WilliamShatner @MarsTweep You should give it a try. With self-driving it’s really nice. it plots out all the charging stops for you and they’re short and in great locations

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

@DevinOlsenn @congressdj I need some of this bro love support too. Jealous! My name is John, I’m from Texas. Nice to meet y’all! 🤠

WSJ reports: Tesla Semi is finally rolling out in volume from Nevada Gigafactory this year with thousands expected in 2026.
Truckers are impressed:
• Centered seat + screens = zero blind spots
• Easier backing & maneuvering
• Smoother power on heavy loads & mountains
• Less physical stress (no clutch/shifting)
One driver: “It’s easier on your body… less stressful.”

We
– design the chips & hardware
– make the cars w/ said hardware
– collect real-world data at scale
– train the real-world AI model
– built (& continue to expand) the massive supercomputer cluster that trains it
– deploy AI directly to millions of robots on wheels
All that is shared with @Tesla_Optimus for broader applications in both the physical & digital world

this will happen many times today, but nobody will write an article about it

Anyone missing a ladder? FSD moved out of the way automatically. @tesla

@M3PUnleashed @elonmusk Does somebody have his direct number so we can call him?

🤖FSD V14.2 First Impressions Drive 🚗
Although the release notes made this update seem small - it feels to me like this is the refinement we have been waiting for in V14.
All of my driving today was very smooth with no brake issues - I drove through HEAVY construction, parking lots, highways, etc and had no issues at all related to braking.
We did run into a problem where the car got stuck trying to leave the parking lot - this is a problem that a larger context window would likely fix.
Enjoy

@OwenSparks @Tesla @cybertruck No one actually needs 500 miles. It's a nice to have but no one needs it.

When Tesla’s get to 500 miles per charge; I’ll think about one. BTW there’s an app that allows Waze to work. 🙄 #thinkIdontknow? 🥱😑

Rivian Universal Hands-Free vs Tesla Self-Driving
This was my first time testing Rivian's new Universal Hands-Free, and I was honestly surprised by how it performed. I understand this is their first attempt and it will only improve from here, but truthfully, it is worse than any version of FSD or Autopilot I have ever used. I respect Rivian as a company, but I always try to remain unbiased in my opinions, so here are my unfiltered thoughts on where UHF stands today. Hoping to test it more as the system receives major updates!
Hope you all enjoy the video.

"Taping out" is a term from semiconductor design. It refers to the milestone when a chip's design is finalized and "taped out". This means the completed layout files are sent to a foundry (like TSMC or Samsung) for manufacturing the first physical silicon prototypes. It's essentially the point where the design phase ends and production begins (though actual mass production comes later after testing and validation).
When Elon Musk talks about taping out AI6, he's referring to Tesla's custom AI inference chip (part of their in-house hardware for Full Self-Driving, Optimus robots, and data centers).
Elon Musk@elonmusk
@teslaownersSV @pbeisel With some luck and acceleration using AI, we might be able to tape out AI6 in December
