@berkie1 I want to know more. How many buildings are vacant? How many units are short term rentals like AirBnB? How many are second residences? Yes, we need more housing, but we also need to make better use of what we already have.

“We do not have a supply problem” is perhaps the absolute dumbest thing I’ve heard in the Massachusetts’ housing conversation to date.

Parking space robs the ability of cities to fulfil their original mandate.....proximity. Car-dependency adds unnecessary space between all vital services, making cities less proximal, therefore less valuable.

@davidwade Yes! And get this, at conferences people even list their salary directly on their name tag. What is there to hide?

Recently, one of my college students asked me what my salary was. I laughed. She was serious. She said many younger people are sharing their salary w/ colleagues. Transparency = pay equality. So would you share your salary with a co-worker? Have you? *BTW, I didn't tell her.

@EikoFried My gut is it’s an underextrated coffee, which can go grassy in taste, but I’d need more info. How was it brewed?

(Anybody else out there with hypersensitive tastebuds who knows more about coffee than I do? There is a type of coffee I dislike that tastes like the very particular smell of an industrial beer brewery. Sort of hoppy. Anybody know what this is? Others don't usually taste it)
