José Garza is Austin's DA. Under him, the homicide rate has doubled vs pre-pandemic, felony cases are dropped, and many crimes have been effectively decriminalized. He is the primary reason Austin's criminals act without fear of consequences.
Then there's Jonathan De La Garza Jr. He was shot in the stomach in front of his younger sisters on Saturday. His family says he can barely speak. When he does, he tells his grandmother he's in pain.

Even if you lose, it REALLY matters how much you lose by. When Beto got within 3 points in 2018, he helped bring two congressional seats, over a dozen legislative seats, and a LOT of judges over the finish line. And these results directly improved people’s lives!
