They are not independents when they're bragging on X about how they vote in our primary elections. No republican votes for a democrat socialist then votes for a "moderate" republican(rino), because they are an "independent". They want to elect "republicans" who will help democrats. So where do conservative republican voters get our representation from? Where's our representation?

We had a reader reach out to us from Collin county who was running for precinct chair, thus was given the voter rolls everyday of who has voted during the early voting and Primary Election Day from the person inside the Collin county GOP who disseminates that info to the candidates. After the final vote was tallied this person email our reader with the final voter rolls everyday and mentioned “you can see where the dems crossed over to vote in the Republican primary.” The reader looked at the data and voting history of those “infiltration” dem voters and quickly realized something. None of the so-called crossover voters had strictly voted in dem primaries according to their voting history. Most had voted more than 75% over the last 5 years for Republican candidates. We used to call these voters independents or swing voters and they were coveted because they could swing one way or another and it would keep the candidates honest, but somewhere around 2015, they became infiltrators. What happened around then? @timdunntexas and his merry band of idiots at @TexasScorecard started demanding loyalty and purity tests. Kinda weird how they went to a system where politicians went from courting your vote to expecting your vote.
Texas Scorecard@TexasScorecard

In an open primary system, Democrats can be the deciding votes in electing a moderate rather than a conservative.

They want me to go where the noise is. They need us to believe all teachers are predators. They are not. By all means necessary, we should root out and prosecute the bad ones! The recent media focus on child predators is to drive up the attacks on public education and to push voucher subsidies. TEA is only focused on these cases in order to drive up the support for state takeovers. Morath has been at @teainfo for TEN YEARS and has ignored these cases, as well as parent complaints on sped violations. He has been changing the case codes to UNKNOWN or DO NOT OPEN to conceal details on countless complaints. Why? youtu.be/uZjjWILq7w4?is… They never say a word about how many of these predators used edtech apps and school-issued technology devices to reach the students, groom them, and access them. I believe the uptick in inappropriate relationships is also a reflection of our culture and moral decay. The technology makes it so much easier to access children. Parenting failures are through the roof. Parents expect the schools to raise their children and we are surprised when these predatory cases arise??? To target their victims, ped0 priests relied on absentee parents who frequently dropped their kids off at church. Is this any different?

@lynnsdavenport @RichardsonISD I see you post constantly about problems with TX public Schools, but what I don’t see you post about is the glaring problem with sexual assaults by teachers/staff in TX Public Schools. Almost everyday we see a new instance/arrest. Why are you not highlighting this major problem?

1. Don't you think you should have a rally at a location in your own district? 2. Your record of wanting to expand government shows you don't like liberty. 3. We at Texans for Truth aren't for abortion, but you took a pledge to work towards saddling women who get an abortion the death penalty even if they go to another state to get it, so you like death too. 4. You also took a pledge to help usher in Texas secession - So you might also be a bit special.

@Bentley4Texas This has been happening for years, nay, decades, but it’s an election year and you got to pull out all the red meat for the fringe lemming’s talking points and then do nothing about it during session.

Thank you for helping to wake Texans up to the reality of our state government Far too many people only focus on federal politics, leaving elected state officials free from consequences or accountability State officials will continue to win by default if the masses don’t understand that our STATE legislature affects our lives far more than the federal government As it should, per the 10th Amendment

I was elected to the Texas House in 2021 after returning from the Trump Administration, where I served in a senior capacity. Five years later, the Democrats wield more power in the House than they did then, and by every object metric of limited government conservatism, last session was an absolute disaster. Despite gaslighting… the Texas House is NOT more conservative. Our "Republican" Speaker was elected by Democrats, the House Parlimentarian is still an Obama lawyer, the Speaker Pro Tem is still a radical Democrat, and James Talarico and Gene Wu are still in House leadership. Property taxes have never been higher, and are going up! The Texas government has never been bigger. Spending has skyrocketed 42%, and has never been higher. Government debt is at an all time high. Texas now has a HIGHER debt-to-GDP ratio than CALIFORNIA. Corporate welfare is on steroids. Wind and solar are still subsidized. Hollywood is getting billions of tax dollars. There are more government agencies/commissions/bureaucracies/regulations than ever after last session. The TEXAS GOVERNMENT is a top ten user of H-1Bs in Texas. The new "Texas DOGE" has somehow managed to GROW government. And Texans are less free. This is not the fault of Democrats (there aren't enough Democrats in Austin to pass a birthday resolution on their own)... but of TxLege “Republicans,” who gladly sell out their constituents for the popularity in the swamp that comes with colluding with Democrats to grow government. As government grows, liberty diminishes. Texans deserve the TRUTH about their government. And the next generation of Texans deserve elected officials who will fight to protect their LIBERTY! I will continue fighting against liberals (in both parties) in the pursuit of a more FREE and prosperous Texas. It’s an honor to be in this fight for freedom alongside so many patriots across this great state!!

Does anyone else find it weird no one can give me an example of this when it is a top priority of the @TexasGOP? I don't want Sharia in America, but Texas banned it years ago. I'm confused. Seriously, does the Emperor have clothes?
Jason Vaughn@JasonVaughn

Am I the only one that’s still very confused on what Sharia law people are seeing in Texas? Like I never actually see any things specifically mentioned other than that there are Muslims living there. Can somebody give me some specifics here?

He’s scrambling to cover himself—after voting against the early warning legislation that could’ve protected people during last year’s July 4th flood, then helping pass it in the special sessions, now he’s nitpicking it to save face and avoid looking like a complete goof for opposing it in the regular session.

@wesvirdelltx I want to focus on closing Planned Parenthood not camps. I’m sure some are truly unsafe and need to change, but broad based reactionary policy is always going to go poorly even though it may be with the best of intentions

If you know of a camp that shutdown because of the new camp legislation, didn't renew their license, or you are a camp that is negatively affected by the new legislation, please send me an email at wes.virdell@house.texas.gov Please title the subject Camp Legislation - (name of camp) for the email. We are trying to compile a list of camps affected and issues with the bill that can be fixed next session. If you know of a camp affected, please send this to them so they can help fix the problem.
