This Council, composed of elected members, convenes monthly to review and advance proposals for community consideration. It will operate independently from the Management Council with 9-19 members to ensure independent decision-making for the DAO in the best interest of the DAO mission: advance DeFi activity for the $SHIB blockchain: #Shibarium Each member of the Roundtable will be a subject matter expert in their domain to bring experience, connections, and guidance to the #K9Unit The Roundtable meets a minimum of once a month to review forum proposals and elevate valid ones to the $KNINE voting process on @SnapshotLabs

This will be a process where these individuals will be elected, but there are already standouts within the K9 DAO advisory and community that would be excellent candidates, including (but not limited to): @Digarch @RagnarShiba @ShibaXanders @LucieSHIB @SethShapiroTV @Akhparty @ShytoshiKusama @Daisyhodl @turbowiz2211 @CryptoRussD @Mr_Lightspeed @marciejastrow It will be important to not only have representation from Shib, but other communities as well. In this list, the first thing I notice is that we would be wise to have representation from other language communities as well. These are things to work on and make sure that this roundtable is representative of the future that we want the DAO to have. I am certainly missing many great community members from this list. This is how a DAO should operate. The reality is that (unfortunately) many DAOs are set up for projects as merely smoke & mirrors. They are not real DAOs and holders really have no say in decision-making. K9 Finance is doing it the right way to build a truly decentralized piece of public infrastructure for Shibarium for the #SHIBARMY in the correct vision The Roundtable of Dogs solves 2 problems with traditional DAOs: 1. Time. Every token holder doesn't have the time to become educated on too many votes. There are certain important votes that they should be giving their attention to so that they are educated voters 2. Education. Not all token holders are the same. It is impossible to be an expert in all disciplines. The Roundtable of Dogs will have experts in token economics, listings, software / fee economics, marketing, treasury management, and more. The Roundtable of Dogs will be elected individuals who: 1. have the best interests of the DAO in mind 2. have certain skillsets that make them experts in their certain field 3. will filter votes to make sure that only the ones that are furthering the mission of K9 Finance (to further the adoption of DeFi for Shib) are going to vote The third point here is very important. The majority of votes, whether the answer of the DAO is yes or no, should have a positive impact on the mission of the DAO. This is a very critical security layer for a DAO to ensure longterm viability, but also have the views of all token holders represented appropriately without giving all token holders a new full-time job of keeping up with daily votes.

@jds_updates Couldn’t agree more. I think he was prob trying to do his best but the power trip combined with a lack of trust in anything/anyone had turned some of his messages really toxic and shut down a lot of good people. Glad it’s over.

Just to give some perspective on the situation. I know many people in the past have left because of Trophias and the breeds. He has constantly told me to be cautious of any other $SHIB community project out there. He even told me to be careful of Welly’s, a partnered project.
