My theory on the Iran MOU: Scott Bessent gave Trump a stark warning about the economic damage from the Iran war — higher oil prices, inflation, and market risk. Trump told Vance: get us out of this the best way possible. Vance, blending anti-Israel prejudice with pure incompetence, rushed into this weak, concession-heavy MOU and has been making more concessions ever since to prop it up. Trump wanted an exit that protected the economy. Vance delivered a bad deal that weakens America and sells out Israel.
